No More "Bullpen Failure"
The next 2 or 3 years are going to bring a lot of unbelievably huge contracts in baseball.
i think he wants to come back to TexasI don't think Joey is too keen on playing there.
With the new CBA there will most likely be a lot of turning down great offers going on. The higher minimums and the higher luxury tax thresholds will make a lot of guys think they can get record breaking contracts.

I do wonder if it will be a little like musical chairs. The music will play for awhile and everyone will hold out for more. Then all of a sudden when certain teams have increased their spending by a certain amount and the music stops, some could be left without a bigger contract and have to settle for a smaller one than they anticipated.Yeah, seems to be a case of Judge betting on himself.
Yeah, he will just barely be 26 years old when he becomes a free agent. That gives him 4 seasons in his twenties in his new contract and that is extremely rare. He is going to get a massive payday.Soto is the one I'm waiting for
Bite your tonguei think he wants to come back to Texas
Not so sure about that. Ownership towed the line in last negotiations and not many teams outbid the Yanks. To me it is about what teams have money to spend. The next 2 or 3 years are going to bring a lot of unbelievably huge contracts in baseball.
Being a poor boy it is hard to equate to such talk. How does Judge decide on what he is worth or what he wants. Personally I hope he fails in negotiations.Yeah, he will just barely be 26 years old when he becomes a free agent. Soto is the one that will turn 26 a few days before he hits free agency.Being a poor boy it is hard to equate to such talk. How does Judge decide on what he is worth or what he wants. Personally I hope he fails in negotiations.
Got it. Posted wrong.Soto is the one that will turn 26 a few days before he hits free agency.
I was surprised to see he played in 148 games last year. Seems like he misses at least 50 games per year. 28 games played in 20 and 103 in 19. Does seem to be an injury concern going forwardAaron Judge turned down a reported 7/213.5 extension. Quite possibly the dumbest move I've heard in quite some time.
