Former WS Champs. Hope this updates in 2025
Basically because they don’t want to play long games in a long season. The players actually wanted it back. It's so dumb.
Kind of like the coin flip rule

Poor guys not making enough money for long games/season.Basically because they don’t want to play long games in a long season.

I read he wants 9 years at 30.5 million a year.Aaron Judge turned down a reported 7/213.5 extension. Quite possibly the dumbest move I've heard in quite some time.

Don't you know, most of the players barely live above the poverty level. Only a few make enough to play long games. LolPoor guys not making enough money for long games/season.
First pitch at 6:40 against the hated blow jays. This is the first rangers season to get excited about in roughly 5 years. Lets do it boys!
hoping to see Semien and Seager rake, el bombi prove he’s for real, actually get some production from the catcher position for the first time since the year of the Napoli, Gray prove he’s a solid #2 pitcher, and stories of Jack Leiter / Josh smith / and Duran tearing up the minors.
glad to see the rangers front office finally figure out what a “deodorant“ stick is.
Actually, it was always OK to root for wins over the past few seasons. But this season, the Strangers may be in position to deliver some of those ever elusive W's!! This season - game in and out - the Rangers have to be taken seriously by the competition. At least it appears so to me.It’s ok to root for wins this year. Exciting

Although I am no longer a serious follower of baseball, I see every reason for Rangers followers to be REALLY encouraged by what the front office has done between last year and now! Terrific sign for both the short and long term IMO!
Sports in general are producing some of the most mind boggling contracts - both accepted and not - the world has ever seen! And I just don't get it.Aaron Judge turned down a reported 7/213.5 extension. Quite possibly the dumbest move I've heard in quite some time.
We get to hear Oh Canada

I won't get into the exact numbers - primarily b/c I don't remember them - but the great George Brett, of KC fam,e said something to the effect of.........'What am I going to do with the extra $10 mil? Get a bigger boat.' ???
Watching the game so I am gratefulcan't figure out why we're getting the pregame ceremonies
Simple. They wanted you to see Geo.Springer trotting out.can't figure out why we're getting the pregame ceremonies
