Correct. Tho even with a loss they'll still be in first.

Percentage points?
If they lose they'll be second. (Virtual tie)They'll be in first place regardless of winning or not.
They have played two less games...but will eventually catch up. Texas has off days like every Thursday down the stretch. If they lose they'll be second. (Virtual tie)

3 years ago rangers offered there top 3 prospects for josh Johnson, good thing that didnt happen
Sometimes lady luck is smiling down on us.
Psychologically it's a big deal to see that you are not trailing in the division. Texas went 32 days without picking up a game, then went on a tear in about 2 weeks making up the gap. That's a huge mental boost.Waaaaaaaaay too much conversation about verrrrrrry little!
Rangers, take care of business and worry about the percentages later! Like about 60 days from now! Let's have a terrific month while we're playing well and having some weaker competition at the same time.
GO RANGERS

He was one hot property back then. But arm troubles are exactly that and he's just never been the same. Not even close actually. Always hate to see a guy's career get derailed by injuries.
I call momentum a bunch of malarkey. People just like to have a name for things they cannot explain. But you know that hence the whistle.Any many instances people refer to that as momentum
Not happy to see Murphy and Rios both in the line up.
Well stated. Big accomplishment in a short time is a big deal.Psychologically it's a big deal to see that you are not trailing in the division. Texas went 32 days without picking up a game, then went on a tear in about 2 weeks making up the gap. That's a huge mental boost.
I wish it were Gentry hitting 9th.Always better to be in first than second for sure. BUT, there's 46 more games on our schedule, nine of which - counting tonight - will be against the disAstros!
And Murphy is still our starting LF. Yikes. But at least Wash moved him into the 9 hole. He's getting closer to the bench is the only thing I make of this. Got Rios in the # 5 hole tonight!
