I wonder if the players are staying in Arizona in order to stay up to speed and be self contained so to speak? Haven't really heard. I know some of their families would be there as well.

Myself. Played a lot of baseball at Turner Park and football in the Gopher bowl.

The fact that the players are being allowed to go home is causing some to guess that it could be well into May before the season starts. Possibly Memorial Day. Obviously no one knows for sure.

It's the pitchers that are the biggest concern, I think. They were already ramping their schedules up for a normal season start. Do you keep them on a throwing schedule? Make them rest? There's no set timetable, so what the hell happens?

Hopefully this will be thought out carefully. I'm sure it will but it has never been a problem before therefore there will be different opinions on the approach.

We'll have to see if we're slowing the spread of this thing. Obviously we're doing quite a bit towards that. But it could be that after the next several weeks, if it's still spreading, the decision is made to cancel the season outright. Un-f'n-believable.
