The best teams don’t always win
Teams peaking at the right time definitely matters. Heard say that a layoff may make a team rusty. But as mentioned a ways a team is constructed matters. Plus a little luck is a factor especially in a short series. I sure don’t have all the answersCostas said yesterday that when you play a team matters.
It’s usually the hotter team that wins. Sometimes it’s the team with the best record,

Especially when you trick up the playoffs.

So whether we agree or not means a team should adapt, right?Especially when you trick up the playoffs.
The moral of the story is, don't seek to be great, try to be a few games better than mediocre and hope you get hot or lucky at the right time. Lol

There is no good way to adapt that I know of, past what has always been required. I will take our WS teams of 2010 and 2011 in this format or the previous one.So whether we agree or not means a team should adapt, right?
But yeah I am or a fan of the first round byes
I think it is more likely that they sign another top SS, like Trea Turner, and move him to CF.what are the odds the Rangers sign another top SS, move Seager to 3B, Jung to 1B and Lowe to DH?

I would rather flip flop Seager and Jung in your scenario.
I don't see us pursuing an OF unless something unusual falls in our lap. I think having Carter and Zavala in our near future affects that. I also think they still want to see Duran and Smith get some prolonged time in the OF in 2023.Do you think the Rangers will go hard after Nimmo?
Wonder what kind of contract he would get? 5-$100?
I don't see any chance Duran or Smith in the OF unless we somehow trade one of the other three. They finished the season with Smith in the OF and they have already started letting Duran play the OF in the minors. It seems like that they want to find out if these guys can make it in the OF because they believe in their bats.I don't see any chance Duran or Smith in the OF unless we somehow trade one of the other three.
