So we need to reproduce the 5 pitchers mentioned. We may already have our Young signed via FA. Maybe Crim or another can be our Moreland and another OF. Hoping Jung will be the first success
We need sign a free agent to get the new Feliz, most likely. I can see us easily matching Holland, Ogando, Harrison and Feldman. I think those lat two could be matched by Dunning and Otto, but we can probably do better.

Of course, it will be awhile before we need the 4 starters due to current contracts. I expect Perez will be offered an extension a couple of months into the season.

Mccarthy's very small sample size ST stats last year:

From MLBTR(here is a possibility)

The Yankees announced they’ve designated reliever Lucas Luetge for assignment. The move creates a 40-man roster spot for Tommy Kahnle, who has officially signed a two-year free agent deal.

It’s a relatively surprising decision, as Luetge is coming off a strong two-year run in the New York bullpen. The southpaw returned to the majors in 2021 for the first time in six years. Signed to a minor league deal over the 2020-21 offseason, he broke camp with the MLB club that season. Luetge held his bullpen spot all year and posted a 2.74 ERA over 72 1/3 innings. He struck out an above-average 25.9% of batters faced with a sterling 5% walk rate, holding left-handed hitters to a dreadful .196/.204/.315 line in the process.

McCann acquired by the Orioles. Some thought the Rangers would trade for him to be DeGrom’s catcher here.

Yeah, he didn't exactly make a name for himself did he.
LOL! No he didn't. Hard to see him taking up someone's spot on the bench unless it is in the minors. But crazier things have happened.

I think he is just depth in case we have a rash of injuries in ST. I imagine we will sign a few more of those types over the next few weeks.

He’s been above league avg with the bat almost every year he’s been in the majors. 2-3 WAR player if he plays everyday.. he seems underrated

Conforto needs to sign somewhere else very soon to take that temptation away from the Rangers. Then maybe they will move onto concentrating on the bullpen.

If the Rangers wanted him methinks they would have gotten him by now.
Yes ready for bullpen help

I am tempted to think that too, but then again, the same sentiment could be used to suggest they don't want bullpen help as well. I am hoping they not only want bullpen help, but they want someone who could conceivably win the closer role, and another to be an 8th inning guy.

Hopefully we find a closer. Much needed.

Maybe they’re just waiting for most teams to fill their OF needs via FA so there isn’t as much competition for Bryan Reynolds & David Bednar trade

Zeid, 35, pitched parts of two seasons as a reliever for Houston in 2013-14 but has become well-regarded as kind of a “fix-it” guy in the minor leagues. After retiring at the age of 31, he finished off his degree at Tulane and joined the Chicago Cubs, first as a pitching analyst and then as their rehab coordinator and pitching lab head while working out of the Arizona facility. Pitching labs, which have become popular technology tools for clubs, focus heavily on biomechanics. The Rangers have added a lab at their spring training facility in Arizona.
