JBC was never going anywhere unless he was fired. You dont leave 1 team for another to stay at the same job. There would have to be some other serious issue.

Next year will be awfully interesting. If the wins keep coming, we could see both coordinators interviewing for HC jobs next off season. If not, we could be looking at a clean slate from JC down.

The Patriots deal with the coordinator problem year after year. Difference is JC is nothing without JBC and Austin IMO. Hopefully Quinn has the stones to release JC, promote Austin or JBC, and compensate the other enough to stay.

Who are the last Lions coordinators to be desired for a HC position by other organizations? Has it ever happened? This would be a good problem. If Quinn rightly kept them around it means we should have more confidence that he knows how to pick a coaching staff.
