Teams That Can Still Make The Playoff

Maybe. OU has a pretty good record against the SEC just not in the CFB. The GA was a great game. but I think they will like the competition. Recruiting will be better and they are doing pretty well with that now. I wanted them in the SEC years ago.

Not so sure. Probably won't happen this year, and they'll be hard pressed to make it when they join the SEC.

The playoff is going to 12 teams at some point or we never would have switched conferences.

I think best case scenario for the Xii is that Oklahoma wins Bedlam and then wins the rematch. That might be enough to put them back into the playoff picture. But if OU wins Bedlam and OSU wins the rematch, then the league has a two-loss champ.

Baylor needs to win against Tech and hope OSU wins Bedlam to get to the CCG. Not sure if OSU beating them twice helps them get to the playoffs.

As Lee Corso would say, not so fast. UGA in for sure. The Big10 has to be terrified of Wisconsin. Very good defense can keep a game close. And either Ohio State or Michigan will be coming down from a very big emotional win. To be sure Michigan more than Ohio State. But to look past Wisconsin would be a mistake.

The committee will have to decide that the loss by the Big 12 champion is a better loss than a loss to a team they have decided should be in the playoff i.e. Cincinatti. That would be convoluted logic on their part.
