3-2 in Super Bowls is still pretty good. :noidea:

But we can probably cool the GOAT talk. His style can't overcome a team that gets pressure without blitzing and that is pretty much the only argument against Brady.
perhaps it's not his style, but KC Oline wasn't as good as we think they are.

All I have to say and fuck the Chiefs and Mahomes as it was nice to see him with the turnovers as well

Even though I am not a big fan of the Eagles at all either

I think thats obviously the case. A lot of people thought this would be the result two years ago and the Chiefs oline was a brick wall. This year it was the opposite.

I guess what I'm getting at is that Brady has played 2 Hall of Fame careers back to back. You only get to skip into the GOAT conversation if you break conventional rules. Mahomes can still beat out Brady but I dont think its even a conversation until we wins 2 more SBs. Which given the AFC is tough sledding.

3-2 is still very good. Even getting to 5 SB’s is an amazing achievement. But he was just unbelievably bad tonight.

He was bad, but the Eagles DL played a huge role in that as well. I don't think many QB's would have fared better tonight. He did pad those stats in garbage time though lol

Eh it's kind of funny..

Russell Wilson put up basically the same passing stats (without an interception).. not quite as impressive on the ground (although Hurts' TD was that dumbass tush push) and the SBOWL MVP was given to Malcolm Smith, a basic no namer who had an INT TD return completely forced by the DL. There was also an INT return this game and a dominant performance by the Eagles DL - same as Seattle in 2013-14.

It's a ridiculous award... but Hurts fits the narrative of what the NFL wants to push with Philly and Hurts.. so yah, give him the auto award.
There's 3 or 4 Eagles defensive players that should have won the MVP. My vote would have been Coop.

Grats to the Eagles on their dominant win.

I hope their fans learn how to give Siriani the benefit of the doubt next time the chips are down. A complete team win in the super bowl is a sign of good coaching from the top down.

I am not surprised by this outcome. Eagles DL dominated and the Eagles had too many weapons for the Chiefs to deal with. They slowed down Barkley, but there were consequences.

Barkley was just one dimension of the offense, as big as he was. And even he was still able to make some plays in the passing game

Their OT situation was so bad they moved a guard to LT. It was never very good.

They had an all pro Center and an all pro Guard, and another pro bowl guard... and Taylor despite being a false start machine at least at one point wasn't terrible, lmao...

Makes you wonder what Geno Smith would do behind that line after having to throw behind one of the worst OLs in NFL history.

Who came up with "The Floor" ? What a convoluted game. You're involving like 100 different people and most of them spend the whole time standing. I mean, seriously how long did it take to explain the rules to all these people? I still don't understand exactly what they are doing.
