Hurts won MVP, I don’t think that’s a joke, it’s just an offensive heavy award and it takes a really great individual defensive performance to win MVP and this Eagles D was a total team effort, Sweat or DeJean or probably a couple of others could’ve had a case for MVP but I have no issue with Hurts winning it, he had over 200 yards passing, 70 yards rushing and 3 total TDs.

Eh it's kind of funny..

Russell Wilson put up basically the same passing stats (without an interception).. not quite as impressive on the ground (although Hurts' TD was that dumbass tush push) and the SBOWL MVP was given to Malcolm Smith, a basic no namer who had an INT TD return completely forced by the DL. There was also an INT return this game and a dominant performance by the Eagles DL - same as Seattle in 2013-14.

It's a ridiculous award... but Hurts fits the narrative of what the NFL wants to push with Philly and Hurts.. so yah, give him the auto award.

It’s going to be harder for the media to suck Mahomes off after that pathetic loss. Now 3-2 in Super Bowls. He was awful.

Have to wonder if this is the end of the Chiefs dynasty. Mahomes dealing with injuries (despite young but declining YOY), Jones/Kelce getting much older... Thune a free agent (he may leave). Trying to patchwork it with guys like Hopkins/Hunt...
Win or lose it was kinda in question. Veach did a fantastic job of raising the floor of the team but Mahomes/Jones/Kelce is the core. Having to do all of the normal OL rebuilding on top of having to find another offensive star to replace Kelce is likely too difficult to do in one year. If you're a Chiefs fan, you're hoping this WAS the down year and they just lucked their way too high because everything is so well run. Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy...maybe something moving forward if they can actually get a running game. CEH pick set them back. Hunt was replacement level.

That said, Mahomes only playing half an MVP season this year is something that could be a sign.

That's it. Fuck off KC. You had a good run/dynasty. Time to turn it over to someone else, for the love of God. And we'll look forward to Swift's song of breaking up with Travis in the coming months, along with a reference to her now fake tits.

That's a wrap gentlemen (and any ladies on the forum).
They will be the favorite to come out of the AFC. But go off.

Oh the Giants are a disaster... hell Seattle could've had Barkley, a prime Sanders, and Bo Jackson on our roster with Walker/Charbs on the practice squad and we would've passed the ball 75% of the time anyway.

3-2 in Super Bowls is still pretty good. :noidea:

But we can probably cool the GOAT talk. His style can't overcome a team that gets pressure without blitzing and that is pretty much the only argument against Brady.

Only thing I was wondering about was the turnover battle. If you've seen more than 2 Eagles games this season you'd realize that this is a physically imposing team that nobody else in the league could match up against.
Ive watched several of their games this year and they were beating up the other team in those games. It was their year. Not much went wrong for them

Wow, that's crazy, didn't know it was that lopsided.

I mean end of day all these dorks calling Mahomes the GOAT is RIDICULOUS. Brady did it with a completely defensively minded head coach. Reid is one of the best offensive coaches in NFL history. Hell he even turned Alex Smith into a playoff/SB contender.

Brady is the GOAT. This is the same thing as doing Jordan vs. Lebron (no arm bar, flop mode, travel mode, whine mode NBA bullshit).

3-2 is still very good. Even getting to 5 SB’s is an amazing achievement. But he was just unbelievably bad tonight.
