Less than 3 hours until the offer sheets come out. Expect Homer to be very aggressive. I was also looking at Pierre LeBruns twitter blog about the Stamkos situation. He thinks that Stamkos will resign with the Bolts but won't be surprised if he jets out of Florida. The Flyers can very well make a deal work if Stamkos fails to resign. However the Leafs will be bidding against us as well. As much as I'd love to get Stamkos I'd rather not kill our roster and future 1st rounders to obtain him.

So now you are missing 2 forwards and a defenseman, depending on the Stamkos deal which should be extensive. Where does this leave your cap?

Losing Bob, Hart, and Carle frees up 9.5milish. I believe Leino rejected 3 million. Give him 3.5, and you have 6 million to give Stamkos. Not happening.
