Breaking Down the Cavs' Firesale Trade Options

Cavs should do something like- taking back Solomon Hill from New Orleans, taking back Brandon Knight from Houston- sending Burks/JR/Hood out, and getting 2 first rounders.

I think they will be able to pull off something like that.

If they pull off something like that- they will have added at least 2-3 first rounders and atl east 3-4 second rounders without taking back any salary that goes past next year.

And then you can just roll over those expiring contracts again and maybe even use those firsts and seconds as grease for other deals....

gonna be interesting to see whath appens.

i dont know if it is a "shitty" contract at this point with only 1 year left...

definitely not among the worst contracts in the league.

its not a good contract and it would be very difficult t to move- but its not like its Tim Hardaway Jr. or something like that.

Depends on the team, imo.

For a team looking to land a top FA this off-season, it would be a shitty contract because it would hurt their cap space.

But it wouldn't be a shitty contract for a team that isn't looking to get a top FA and might look after next season to move him for other assets or keep him at a lower price.
