Stafford: keep or new QB?

Lose the sidewinder.. I would rather see the Lions get Fitzpatrick from the Jets in the off season than see Stafford start for the Lions next season. imo Fitz is better

Stafford drives me crazy but, Fitz is in the perfect situation right now. One that IMO is the kind I talk about Stafford needing. Fitz sucks balls IMO and has bounced around for that reason.

Said my plan about 20 times already this season alone. He is good enough to win with. A run game that can actually get first downs. Extend drives and minimize the amount of times the game is in Staffords hands. Defense that can be a top 10-15 defense. Doesn't have to be a shutdown defense like last year.

Too many here keep looking at stats as what makes him good. The success last season was a team that actually ran better in the 4th qtr. Got those first downs to keep the clock running. Much like the Cowboys team last season. Decent defense and a run game took many chances away from Tony choking. Just my opinion. Is it right? Prolly not but Fitz sucks.

If the Lions go winless for the rest of the season we could maybe get us a brand new 2nd round qb to replace the Texan. I don't know. If Staff isn't gone next season nothing will ever change

Lions had an all time elite defense and Stafford had not only Megatron but Tate who had 1300 yards receiving as well. Result, one and done. Stafford IS NOT good enough to win with.
