The Spurs continue to whoop ass.

If they sweep the H&H set with Houston, it is likely that they end up as the 2 seed

Sunday is Warriors @ Spurs.

I expect the Spurs to stomp them out.....send them a little message and give them something to think about when they meet in the 2nd round in early May

It's hilarious. They do this every year. Everyone always counts them out and every year they remind us that they are still around.

PARKER maybe got hurt in the blowout of OKC

I am not sure he will play tommorow versus Houston or the last few games

The SPURS are playing great ball, but I think they might ease off the gas pedal and take the 6 seed...

The injury scare with TP might see Popovich rest his guys again

Spurs are a really scary team right now. I'm a Warriors fan, but having the top spot in the regular season means very little if you can't carry any momentum into the postseason, regardless of who has home court advantage, and the Spurs have all the momentum in the world. They look unbeatable if they continue dismantling teams in the postseason like they have for the past few weeks (including GSW on Sunday, which really sucked). Call me a terrible fan, but if the two teams meet in the playoffs, my mind says Spurs in 6 or 7, but my heart will always be rooting for GSW.

That's a big risk. Can't see them making the finals if they don't have HCA in any round. They should really aim for the 2 seee especially with a home & home set with Houston where they can pass them.

Settling for the 6 seed would be pretty stupid. You at least want HCA for one round at minimum

I wish they had played like this earlier

Might be too late to overcome poor seeding ultimately

What poor seeding dude? They can easily end up the 2 seed. This race is ridiculous. San Antonio, Memphis, Houston, & the Clippers can all end up as high as 2 or as low as 6. A half game separates those 4 teams if I'm not mistaken

The SPURS are not likely to get any higher than the 5 seed even if they win every game.
All those early season losses with injured rosters cost tiebreakers.
Nobody is feeling sorry for them with all those losses without Parker, Leonard, Splitter, and Mills.

The only team they can catch is Houston (IF they can somehow win on Houstons homecourt).
They need a few flukey upsets to catch anybody else even if they run the table somehow (both unlikely).

Yeah you're right. I just did the research. Only team of the 3 they would have the tiebreaker over (if they win on Friday) is Houston.

After doing my research I have come to the conclusion that the Spurs and Clippers will be the 2 and 3 seeds out West. Houston got an easy schedule but I think San Antonio beats them on Friday and run the table. Both teams probably end up 56-26 but Spurs win the tiebreaker. Memphis will be the 6th seed unless a miracle happens. They're going on a 3 game roadtrip where they will face Utah, Clippers, & Warriors. Unless the Warriors are resting most of their starters, I think they lose 2 of 3 which puts them at 55-27. As for the Clippers they should not lose another game this year and they have the advantage over San Antonio so by top 6 seeds in the West looks like this:

1) Warriors
2) Clippers
3) Spurs
4) Blazers
5) Rockets
6) Grizzlies

Dream situation for Spurs fan would be Spurs win out, Clippers lose to Memphis, & Memphis lose to Utah & GSW.

If that happens, Spurs would be the 2 seed
