I still say the Jags/Titans game should have been the last game to be played. Now the last game is Detroit/GB, is Seattle wins the Lions have nothing but pride to play for.

Big mistake by the schedule makers
I agree. Have both games play in the same time slot. & have the Jags/Titans play the night game.
Then they all have something to play for no matter what.

OK, I'll just disagree about it being unfair to Seattle.

It's not unfair to anybody, it's just the NFL trying to make the last weekend as compelling as possible, plus get as many eyes on the TVs watching their product as possible.

I disagree, if I’m Seattle I’d rather have Detroit playing for a win vs a draft pick. This is more about the nfl wanting rodgers in prime time. For the sake of my viewing pleasure. I sure hope Seattle losses to the rams. Don’t really think it happens though

well I dont see Dan Campbell's team laying down for a draft pick.
A. Its Dan Campbells team
B. Its the Packers they are playing (division rival)
C. it gives them a winning record (even if they miss the playoffs)

Possibly. I’m just not sure they’d be as motivated knowing they were eliminated ahead of time

If they were already eliminated it would be easier to play hard than to learn only 4 hours earlier.

Learn their fate at the conclusion of the Seahawks game.

My bad. Actually, it would be only one hour earlier than the start of the Lions game.

I can’t believe I’m the only one to question this. The nfl alay leaves the last gam as tbd, in order to have the right to change them due to competitive advantages. I’m guessing the nfl being woke and all are wanting to have a queer in the playoffs
