What’s with posters with fandom for Iowa teams thinking that all 1-0 are equal? Do they not want teams to play high quality OOC opponents because that’s how you get shit scheduling.

What’s with posters with fandom for Iowa teams thinking that all 1-0 are equal? Do they not want teams to play high quality OOC opponents because that’s how you get shit scheduling.

I remember @rmilia1 ranking like that and the fights with @4down20

We had an Iowa poster on Rivals (DTP2). He used a simple formula that most simply didn’t understand, and it created some interesting rows.

In any event, in week 1 plenty of methodologies will create different rankings. None are more “right”.

1. I swapped UCF and Florida, I feel UCF is the best team in the state.
2. Boise State debuts at 20.
3. Nebraska debuts at 24
4. Georgia State gets some love from me at 25

lel at Iowa St and their triple overtime to an FCS being over A&M. Tx State is nothing to brag about but at least they are FBS and we stomped them like we should.

LoL yup but I am sticking with my preseason poll. I didnt change much from it aside from dropping the only 3 who lost and I had all 3 of those ranked 20 and lower. The 3 newcomers are Boise St, admirable win at FSU, Nebraska(slight bias for tradition) and Georgia State, little guy getting it done.

It's more fun to rank teams based off only what they've actually done this year I quit doing it like that because I don't have the time to argue with people about it but I've got no issue with it either . It's actually probably a better way to do it in a vacuum as you don't reward teams for winning early games vs teams we think are good who end up being shit . Ultimately everyone's rankings will look the same by week 7 or 8 anyway
