I would say that at this point in the offseason, it should be time to do everything we can to get Steele on signed to a long term deal, see if Pollard will sign a short term deal since he is coming off injury, see if Schultz would give us a home town discount and say goodbye if he doesn't, and try and sign LVE and Wilson to reasonable deals. Also see if Tyron and Zeke would come back at a reduced number(good chance). WR can come during the draft

I'm concerned that Tony may not come back 100% after his injury and Zeke can't any longer tote the barge.

I think it might help get Tony back for less than a 1 year. Otherwise, RB becomes a draft priority.
I would approach Zeke with the idea of switching to full time FB. He is a Hell of a blocker and short yardage back.

Understand why Cowboy fans would be upset with Dak after that gutless performance. Everybody entitled to their opinions but I still believe in this QB with his flaws and all. Gotta believe in him because I for damn sure don't believe in the people making the decisions. Remember it was this front office's decision that traded this flawed QB's WR1, franchised tagged a replacement level TE, and for the better part of the year had Noah Brown as WR2 because Gallup wasn't healthy. Not to mention for several years this QB's cap number was more than team friendly and there was no aggression whatsoever in free agency. They had the window to build a great roster around a QB that wasn't making much. Now the QB is making a lot. Issue remains up top no matter how much we want to blame the QB. And trust me, the QB does deserve some blame.

Read this morning that Zeke is willing to take a pay cut to stay with the Cowboys. Not sure how I feel about that. Depends how Pollard responds from his injury. We may be looking at needing two RB. Zeke can't carry the load and do we know if Davis can? Going to wait and see. Think we have to draft one high ranking RB. TU's Robinson perhaps.

Tay Zeke for what you did while you were here and F—- you for holding out and getting Jerry to fold but it’s time to move on you are done. The Draft has plenty of young talent to bring in and we should do so

I would be good with Zeke coming back to a reduced role behind Pollard. I am also good with drafting an RB, but he would have to be awfully special for me to take him in the first round. We need another corner, another WR, and another OL much more IMO

I agree his is a leader but sadly sometimes it is about the money and for his current contribution the $$$$ are to much IMO. But hell I’m not Jerry so who knows what’s on the stove cooking

Yeah, I think it comes down to how big a drop he is willing to take on salary. I'm talking literally a $2-3 million type of deal. I don't think he is getting much more than that anywhere else

I would guess that is close to the vet minimum ? Might depend on if Moore comes back at OC a new OC might not have the same value on Zeke.
