I agree.

But it happened to the Steelers so I'm OK with it this time.

I couldn't tell you if it is intentional or not but it happens to everyone sooner or later, refs will screw up and cost your team a game, sometimes it is a more important game than others, that's just how the ball bounces.

Tomlin said it well, he didn't whine about the call, what is, is.

I really don't understand this argument, so they would have made the playoffs if the right call was made right?

Why are they not deserving if they are one call away from making it, and why is San Diego deserving if they were one call away from not making it?

I agree the Steelers should have beat teams they didn't, but so should San Deigo and Miami and Baltimore.

Because referees are part of the game. Sometimes the calls go your way, sometimes they don't. Steeler fans know this better than most (SB vs. SEA). Seattle doesn't get a do over of that game, the Pats don't get a do over for the Panthers or Jets game, KC doesn't get a do over in this one. It is what it is.

I've mentioned this more than once and NOOOOOOBODY wanted to answer me.

There was even a Browns fan that said the Chargers maintained possession because someone's helmet came off.

That was me, and I was correct. Oh, and the Steelers ever crying about the refs has to be one of the most hilarious things. Ever.

you werent correct they ruled forward progress, not a dead play due to a helmet coming off

also,

"Replay did not stop the game because the ruling of forward progress is not reviewable. Should have been a strip and TD in my opinion" @MikePereira)

pretty sure Pereira knows a bit more than you,

thanks

my point is they got it right for the wrong reason. are you saying the helmet did not come off before the ball was stripped?

Not nearly as funny as this....

"Honk if you've played QB for the Browns".

Or this...

"Honk if you've been the HC for the Browns"

I heard an echo the other day.....and realized I was standing in the Browns trophy case.

Pop quiz: Who's your HC?

Question #2: Who's going to be your starting QB this year?

Question #3: How will they screw up the picks they got for Richardson?

Two words: "The Drive".

Should I keep going?

You're a BROWNS fan. Know your place.

It's about time the Chargers get some assistance from the refs. And for the Steeler fans that have their panties in a bunch:

NFL concedes officiating mistake in Houston Texans-San Diego Chargers game - ESPN

I'll give you the Chiefs game if you give me the Texans game, deal?

So yeah, still 9-7, still in the playoffs. Eat it.

Lots of Steeler fans aren't crying like some seem to be. Chargers won the game and got the help needed to make the playoffs. They deserve it, Steelers don't and that's all. Good luck and congrats for making it to the playoffs. :suds:

That's OK, though...I can go back any time and watch the 6 SB's I have on DVD.

Well, I suppose you can to. You went to the SB once.

Bobby Ross was the HC. Right? You played the 49er's? Wasn't that the worst blow out in SB history?

You guys are going to be Cincy's first playoff win in 23 years.

Just sayin'.

Enjoy your DVDs.

And you're probably right. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Bolts, not a year we get back to the playoffs. So I'll enjoy it regardless, and look forward to next year. Anything from here on out is more than anyone expected.

Cincy is a solid team with a very good defense and is 8-0 at home. No shame in losing to them. Certainly wouldn't be near as embarrassing as being knocked out of the playoffs by Tim Tebow.

I think the only legitimate issue that remains here is that Charger fans will be watching their team play football this weekend.....Steeler fans...well....they'll be watching anyone OTHER than their team...or no one.

Oh I agree. That's why I wasn't mad at KC for resting their players. KC has to do what was best for them, and that means resting their starters since they wont get a bye week.

We had our fate in our hands even later in the year but lost to Miami. :wtf2:

That being said there are a whole LOT of people in Cincy hapy that they wont be seeing us this coming Sat. and SD stunk up their own house getting a must have game against scrubs.

I'm telling you...that Cincy-SD game is going to be ugly.

Not 1 single team all year has beaten the Chargers by more than 10 points. Every loss came by an average of about 4-5 points and they had a chance to win every single game. We are talking about a team that has wins:

@Philly, Dallas, Indy, @KC, @Denver, KC, and won its last 4 straight games and 5/6. The only time we played Cincy we held them to 17 pts and barely lost by a touchdown.

I hopes the Bengals take this one for granted.
