Not 1 single team all year has beaten the Chargers by more than 10 points. Every loss came by an average of about 4-5 points and they had a chance to win every single game. We are talking about a team that has wins:
@Philly, Dallas, Indy, @KC, @Denver, KC, and won its last 4 straight games and 5/6. The only time we played Cincy we held them to 17 pts and barely lost by a touchdown.
I hopes the Bengals take this one for granted.
If they were a team that was used to making the playoffs and winning - they might. But they haven't won a game in 23 years. They're going to throw everything into this game to get that monkey off their backs, especially since they know that if they win they face the Pats in Foxboro next week.
All trash talking aside you guys really should have owned the Chiefs 3rd stringers this past weekend. You had every advantage and still damned near lost it. Were it not for OT, a missed FG and bad officiating you would have.
K.C. practically handed you the game - or tried. 3rd string players? At home? And THAT was the best you could do? C'mon....
Granted, Cincy is up and down. They're not as hot as they were early on. Dalton threw 4 INT's vs. the Ravens last week. That being said their defense is going to be MUCH tougher than what you faced last week. You wont get the friendly calls like you did last week either. Call it, 'home cooking'. I've noticed that home teams tend to get those gray area calls.
Given your performance last weekend, I don't know that you have a chance.
That being said I'd LOVE to be wrong on that. I'm a Steelers fans and would love to see Cincy's streak of having no playoff wins hit 24. I just don't think it will happen.
