"Replay did not stop the game because the ruling of forward progress is not reviewable. Should have been a strip and TD in my opinion" @MikePereira)

Shit happens. The Steelers only have themselves to blame just like Miami & Baltimore. All three teams played 16 games. They needed one more win. The Chargers have had their share of bullshit calls go against them in the past to. The Holy Roller & there was a game against the Broncos in which Ed Hocholi actually apologized for messing up.

Heck I still think the Super Bowl between the Steelers and Seahawks was quite possibly the worst officiated game in NFL history.

When you win your games doesn't matter. Panthers started 0-2, and are the 2 seed in the NFC. Bears started 3-0, and missed the playoffs.
But it's asinine to imply or bitch about (not by you) one call in the last game of the season (that your teams not even involved in) was the reason why your team didn't make the playoffs, after staring 0-4 and then 2-6.

If they would have "won their games" like you said, then there would be no need for this thread.

Why does it matter that they started 0-4, or 2-6? If they had started 4-0 and 6-2, and finished with the same record, would they be more deserving? No, they won 8 games. They still have no argument about getting screwed over.

I agree.

But it happened to the Steelers so I'm OK with it this time.

Stealer fans will never get it. Proof that homers can not watch a game without blinding bias. They have been a great organization with a long history. Maybe they should put up a billboard announcing all their trophies? Oh wait, somebody already did that.
They just need to give up expecting any sympathy when they cry about officiating. I liked what coach Tomlin said about not getting upset about something happening in a stadium when the stealers were not even there. He gets it.

Seahawks fans constantly bitch and complain about SB XL and they are so quick to argue that the game winning TD pass against GB in 2012 was legitimate...

Maybe if you read the entire thread you wouldn't make such a statement. Just get used to the fact that nobody will ever listen when stealers complain about officiating.

I wasn't complaining at all... That was someone else. I was just making fun of those seahawks fans that are still bitter 8 YEARS later... Sorry to offend those that aren't.

Okay. Let's trade then. We'll give up the week 3 win and you give us the 2005 Superbowl.

I think most are over it. We replaced the bitterness with joy when the stealers lose and have a wonderful footballgasm when they lose and complain about officiating.

I really don't understand this argument, so they would have made the playoffs if the right call was made right?

Why are they not deserving if they are one call away from making it, and why is San Diego deserving if they were one call away from not making it?

I agree the Steelers should have beat teams they didn't, but so should San Deigo and Miami and Baltimore.

It's simple all Pittsburgh had to do was win 1 more game. The same can be said for Baltimore & Miami. They put their fate in the hands of the Chiefs & lost. When you put your playoff hopes on another team you have no choice, but to live with the outcome. I respect Tomlinn a lot. I think he's a very good coach. He handled the situation well. I understand why Steelers fans are upset, but at the same time their team put themselves in a bad position & in the end, paid for it.

These two statement contradict one another.

If you're over it, you wouldn't be joyous when we lose or have calls go against us.

I'm not upset the about the SD-KC game. I am a bit upset this team isn't very good right now though.

My boys like it better than I do. For my part, it is best in front of a roaring fire on a bitter cold night. Doesn't really even enhance the flavor of sushi.

I had my first sake bomb the other night at Little Tokyo (sushi bar), it was freakin awesome, everybody cheered and it was delicious.

Of course we are happy when the stealers lose. We hate them and always will.
