Yep, they're gonna need all of it in the next series too.
Not to worried. I think Cavs are in for a fight. As a fan Im ready for this match up. Had to beat them sooner or later. Why not be sooner. No JR for 2 games and no Love. I love this match up right now.

I agree. I think they take the series too. But Lebron is the best player in the game and Kyrie has been killing it. But, if the Bulls underestimate what those 2 are capable of, they'll be in trouble. In short, they need to play at the level they did tonight and game 1, or very close to it, every night.

I agree except for the LBJ comment. Everything else I agree. We need to have this fight to win.

If you can't beat the cavs with hobbled kyrie for 3 games and him missing most of 1 game, no love, JR suspended for 2 games, and LeBron shooting 20ish % on jumpers.... I think its time to blow it up.

For the cavs to move on to the finals, Kyrie needs to get healthy and not have any major aggravations in the next series, and LeBron needs to find his jumper. He tends to struggle with it for a round during every playoffs, lets hope this was the round.

I don't know about blow it up, but they need something. They are still prone to the same long offensive droughts that have been hurting them for the past several years and it cost them again.

They really cannot blow it up.

They dont want to let Butler leave as he is the only young healthy future asset.
They have to pay him.

Rose, Gasol, and Noah all have big deals nobody wants.
They are a bit scewed with roster flexibility.

The only changes they can really make are 1) crappy low 20s draft pick 2) filler cheap free agents 3) head coach.

Only option (3), getting rid of Thibs, can shake up things.

I think Noah is movable because his contract is expiring. That alone will be appealing to some teams.

Need a better offensive coach and someone that won't run them into the ground

You could see that the Bulls were just lethargic. Also, as you mentioned, the Bulls have these long offensive droughts where they'll just settle for 20-foot jumpers behind a screen that is set. There's no ball movement, and no fear on the other team's defense.

Having Gasol, Butler, Rose, and Dunleavy alone should be enough to where your offense shouldn't be as stagnant as it was. Thibs strikes me as a version of Doug Collins - good coach, but has a ceiling, and that ceiling was reached. They need a new coach, but what coach is out there that can come in a win immediately?

If I'm the Bulls, I hold onto Mirotic, Rose, and Butler. Try to trade Noah and build around the aforementioned players while bringing in a college coach and see where you're at 2-3 years from now. Because as is, the Bulls are at best a conference finals team until they meet Lebron in the playoffs.

What are you gonna blow up? We just need a few tweaks and a new coach IMO.

The Bulls FO may let Jimmy walk and see what Tony Snell has..? Snell needs to put on a few lbs, but he's going to be pretty dam good too. I'd rather keep both and let Dunleavy walk. Pick up another SF/PF we can throw at Lebron for D.

WTF happened to Noah?

They were just saying that 2 years ago he had like almost 30 points in a close out game against Brooklyn in the playofs

he was playing freaking hot potato with the ball last night. He was TERRIFIED to take a shot. It was pretty pathetic. Maybe he should tone it down and remember what it takes to make a layup before he runs his mouth.

Fred Hoiberg is another strong rumor circulating out there.

Crazy stat....42 head coaches have been fired since I believe it was the 2010-2011 season. Something like 9 or 10 of them had winning records the season they were fired. Tough job to keep.

Blow it up. Think about tanking. Don't match the max offer the Lakers give Butler. :D
