Should the Bears be interested in Cam Newton?

well, he would be better than what they have .... he may have a decent couple of years but he's a shadow of himself at this point.

A few teams should be interested in Cam. Bears, Browns, Eagles are three off the top of my head.

No. There's better options available. I've got my eye on Dalton, Bridgewater and Alex Smith (if his leg isn't completely destroyed). Cam is an older, more injured but slightly better version of Mitch Trubisky.

I think they should. Newton could solidify the QB spot for them even if for only 2-3 seasons until they can develop a proper QB of the future.

We'd still have the worst QB in the north...so nah.

What teams should be interested in a healthy Cam? Bears, Dolphins, Bengals, Tampa Bay, Tennessee, Minnesota, Denver, Chargers, Steelers, and I've missed some...but the real question is what do you think they should give up to get him.

I get it that he's a polarizing figure, but when he's healthy he's better than the options the teams above have...I added Chargers and Steelers only because I don't know how much longer Ben or Rivers play after this year...but still, what do you think it would take for the Panthers to trade him.

Chicago's fashion industry would sure get a huge boost if he signed with the Bears

Alex Smith is done.

I'm sure bears management would be gullible enough to trade multiple picks for a broken down cam newton. After all this is the same team that traded for Rick Mirer.

Dalton can't win the big one, hasn't won a playoff game.

Cam at least has lead teams to the playoffs and a SB.

I would much prefer Bridgewater of those 3 you mentioned.

But that said, Cam is more than slightly better than Trubisky...assuming he's healthy enough to play, I would take Cam over Mitch no question.

Buyer beware... Cam is broken. Make sure your medical staff does as thorough a physical as possible on him. He's suffering from more than just that lisfranc injury. Don't think his shoulder has ever fully recovered after that surgery a few seasons ago, and his numbers have just continued to slide.

Hoping he does well in the future but it will not be in Charlotte.

Cam dresses like a clown, struts and poses too much IMO, but he's an experienced accomplished QB who can hold the position while a younger QB holds a clip board.

Wow Alex smith. Bears fans need some serious talent and injury assessment education.

Quite possible no trade is necessary. Cam can be cut by the Panthers this offseason with minimal cap penalty.
