yeah, gotta put this one away. not a great showing, and nashville just took over the game. No real chance for jones on any of the goals. Sharks just simply got beat. They will have to better on Thursday...

Its a series, and this is the first beating the sharks have suffered this playoffs and the first 3rd period that they sucked. Thursday will be interesting...

it was one bad game, with a few key errors. They are 6-2 in the playoffs right now, an still up 2-1 in the series. That's pretty awesome. A sweep was pretty unlikely, and virtually no one predicted this wold be a 4 or even 5 game series. All three games have been close with special teams playing a big role. I expect the sharks will come back and put in a better effort in game 4. They looked like they were still on cali time.

I really hope they come back strong game 4. I just haven't gotten 2014 out of my head yet and keep expecting the worst. This team has for sure shown a lot more heart this year. Let's hope they get back to their road dominance tomorrow!

And the diminished reliance on Old Cancers #1 and #2 have helped significantly. Two years ago everyone was wondering what happened to PM and why wasn't he scoring as the 3-0 games lead evaporated quickly against LA. Now it's like, "OK, Patty, just create some chances, don't fuck up on D, and not scoring is OK we can handle it." Same goes for JT. That kind of attitude take the pressure off of everyone big time.

Speaking of old cancers, how would you like to be the Washington Capitals right now? LOL. You have Ovi and Backstrom and you add TJ Oshie to mix. Nothing Justin Williams can do to override that bad karma. Epic regular season, fall flat in the playoffs. Seen that before. Even Orpik doing his Raffi Torres imitation. Look at St. Louis now free of Oshie.

Per Dan Rusanowsky's comments on the radio pregame show before Game 2, the cat was receiving care at a local animal shelter and was named Joe Paw-velski, even though it's female.

If the Sharks PP and PK is as awful tonight as it was in Game 3, leading to another loss, they will need the cat at the Tank for Game 5. Nashville also out-played them for most of the final 40 minutes in Game 2, so the Sharks could easily be down 2-1 right now. Their mental toughness will be tested tonight.

Hopefully, this series won't be a repeat of the WCSF series vs. Edmonton in 2006 - win the 1st two at home and then lose four in a row to get eliminated.

Pretty even, maybe a little edge to nashville here. Woulda like the sharks to push after their 3-2 goal, but credit nashville. They havent gotten the bounces today with 3 posts and a goal off a hand. Sometimes, that's hockey, and the sharks have to take advantage. Tough game...

Also great that dallas won. they are 2-2, so if the sharks can hang on and close it out in 5, they will again be healthy and rested. HUGE 8 minutes...

my opinion is next goal wins the series.

Sharks really took the foot off when they scored and nashville started pushing. hand it to nashville, but I am very disappointed with the prevent defense. The sharks have had so much success of late because late in the games playing the lead, they keep pushing, but they really got whooped that last 13 minutes.

Of course, would been nice for patty to take 1 more stride before floating there at the end. That goal would been ridiculously awesome!
