Nashville came to play. Don't want to go down 2-0. Generally outplaying the Sharks but I think the Sharks have had the most dangerous chances. If Donskoi lifts that one in the 1st period, it is a goal.

A little drama at the end but up 2-0 now. Even though a little shaky at times they seem to get the job done at end with big goals this year.

jsut got home. Adversity overcome... again... and again? Yes. The big pavelski. again. and jumbo had a whale of game, when it mattered. Dillon and polak are gawd awful and patty's line was by far the worst. The depth didnt do it this game, but the big dogs did. Jones awesome yet again.

The character on this team is giant. When the top dogs have an off night, the depth comes through. When the depth has an off night, the big dogs come through. And when the whote team is off, Jones keeps 'em it in.

1. Devastating OT loss in Game three vs. LA. Doughty commenced trash talk. Uh oh's everywhere. Shark response, come out hot and win game 4.

2. In game 4, they go up 3-0 then give up two quickies. Uh oh, LA has all the momentum, sharks should be choking. The response: they gave up next to nothing the rest of the way.

3. In game 5, up 3-0 early, blow the whole lead going into the 3rd. Is this a choke? sharks response: 3 in the 3rd to clinch the series.

4. game 1 vs. nash: down 1-0 going into the 3rd. is this another hot goalie crushing the sharks ala Niemi, luongo, elliot, whoever? sharks response: score 3 in the 3rd.

5. game 2 vs. nashville. Give up a cruching game tying goal with 5 minutes left. Nashville pushing hard on all cylinders. Sharks response: great plays by braun, jumbo, and pavs to win it.

The sharks have already faced a ton of adversity just 7 games in, and have responded well, literally every time.

Its fun to watch, and its a testament to alot of guys, but DeBoer as the coach and pavelski as the captain have the team in the right mind.

And the diminished reliance on Old Cancers #1 and #2 have helped significantly. Two years ago everyone was wondering what happened to PM and why wasn't he scoring as the 3-0 games lead evaporated quickly against LA. Now it's like, "OK, Patty, just create some chances, don't fuck up on D, and not scoring is OK we can handle it." Same goes for JT. That kind of attitude take the pressure off of everyone big time.

he showed stellar wheels on the goal but didnt feel like backchecking on the goal against by weber. If patty came back harder, he should have weber.

So far, this is the first game that I have felt the sharks just arent really in it. I wasnt thrilled with their push back or character so far. Id like to see them push here in the last 10-15 mins. Maybe you cant be awesome and overcome adversity every game, though its not over yet.
