Yeah my dealership sent me a link to enter my vin number and km's to see how much of a refund I can get based on the black book.

I think I'm just going to take the settlement money. I gave the car to my brother when he moved back out to the suburbs since I didn't really need a diesel in the city. Still works fine. The buyback money won't cover much of a similar replacement even if I strip it down and sell the parts before turning it in.
