That Harvin deal is going to set this team back for a couple of years. We're desperate at too many positions to fill in one offseason and we do a horrid job of filling those slots to begin with.

In the fourth quarter they had the ball inside the red zone and didn't score and then had the ball inside the 50 and couldn't score. Getting real sick of these empty shotgun sets and throwing on third and 2 and inside the 5 all the time.

very much so.

and the niners just won, even though I don't believe Seattle or San Fran will do much come play off time if they even make it.

Oh well. The Chiefs are a half decent team so I didn't expect to beat them anyways. It'll be a miracle if this team see's 9 wins this year.

I think 9 is about expected at this point. Likely they will split with Arizona and SF. Probably going to beat St. Louis at home and right now I'm sure they'll find a way to lose against Philly on the road. That's 9-7.

Why in the hell did yall get rid of Harvin & Tate? :L

Offering Tate mediocre money was the worst move of the offseason. He's now a top WR in the NFL. Our money is now entirely invested in a defense that sucks...

they put a beating on Denver today, not so sure about that

I think the ceiling for this team, with the injuries and everything, is 9... we could be looking at a 8-8 record. I sure was not impressed with the Chiefs and we lost

Hey, look at the bright side. They played their hearts out and did about as much as they could considering all the injuries, the worst WR's in football, a defense that cant stop anybody, one of the worst O-lines I have ever seen, and just plain idiotic coaching calls as usual. That's hard to overcome. I'll just remember last season from here on out.

I didn't see the first half, but did Bruce Irvin play? Oh nevermind. I remember hearing his name for a personal foul once again so he must have. He's worthless.

There's nothing left to do. We can't run it up the gut without Unger and our WR's can't get separation to save their lives. The Unger injury looked bad and if he's gone you can put a fork in the season.

Now just waiting for the "Unger is out for the season" news to make this loss worse. :/

I like the Harvin deal. The offense is much better without him. Harvin is useless as a WR, and Bevell tried to get too cute with him. Including today, the offense is averaging 396 yards per game, as opposed to 335 while Harvin was here. The defense has given up fewer yards as well (only 1 game over 300 since Harvin was traded). Besides, Harvin wouldn't have been in when the game was on the line anyway.

Seattle's run defense saw the affect of missing your entire middle run defense (Mebane, Wagner). They had a chance to win, they made stops when they needed to. They even forced 2 turnovers. It just wasn't quite enough.

You could do a lot worse in the NFL than Seattle's defense, but yes it is obvious that the defense is not on the same level as it was last year. Don't see it getting back to that caliber without Mebane either.

I cant even see a split with those teams at this point. I think they are clearly better then us. The Rams will beat us again so 9-7 might be generous.

Not the 2nd one, the first one. Dumping him was absolutely the right thing to do because he's an overrated punk that can't stay healthy.

It was actually #31 Chancellor who had the late hit, not Irvin. They called the wrong number.
