Sorry. You"re happy. My bad.
I predicted a loss all week. The outcome is exactly what I expected. Thomas being out and that O line and lack of a solid replacement for Lynch just made winning on the road a tall order they weren't up to.

Don't mistake my feeding back insults to someone that couldn't carry on a rational discussion about why they struggled down the stretch as having any further emotions behind it.

I think we have a replacement for Lynch (Rawls) but the o-line sucks and it's difficult to keep the run game on par.

Atlanta is hot right now. Hard to beat an offense like that when your defense is not at it's best & the team as a whole keeps making mental errors.

For sure. Russ missed Doug on two TDs and the unnecessary holding on a few big returns really hurt. I wasn't expecting to win this one but I am pretty annoyed they couldn't capitalize on a few of the chances they got.

Get rid of Lane and Kearse in the off season. Find better answers on that O line. Get healthy. Reload.

I don't have that same feeling about Rawls. The problem is he hasn't made it through an entire season since high school. He has moments of flashes, but isn't resilient and doesn't always make the best cuts on blown blocking.

There aren't many top flight backs in the league so it's asking a lot to replace Lynch with similar production. They had a bad string of injuries in that position this year. Add that to the line struggles and they really never could get a running game going.

I'm not ready to give up on Rawls but I do agree he needs to stay healthy and needs to make better decisions on broken blocks. I think we're so spoiled with what Lynch brought to the table that it's easier to see some of our RB's flaws. Yes, the line didn't help much either and it showed its ugly face again today.

lol, I didn't make any avi bets down the stretch for a good reason.

I can't complain as a football fan this year. UW made it to the playoffs and Seattle had a frustrating second half, but still made the playoffs and won the division. There are fans of more than half the league that would love to have had their teams reach this far.

Seahawks do need to finally fix that damned offensive line, but just getting healthy on the D will be enough to put them back on the winning trail next year.

Oh I don't want to get rid of Rawls at all and maybe Prosise or one of the others is that durable back we need, but right now it doesn't feel like we have a complete running back corp as this type of offense requires.

If they fired Kearse and found even just a couple of serviceable replacements for their issues on the line they would improve drastically. My thing is we have been saying stuff like that year after year and they never seem to fix the things on offense they need to. They spend all of their money on defense and get by on the other side of the ball. So frustrating.

How was that "interception" not reviewed at the end? Willson's back was on the ground when the ball was jarred loose? Not that it was going to change the outcome and not complaining, just WTF??

I really thing some changes need to be made. I don't believe in Pete's philosophy anymore in which the offense can be truly lackluster and the defense can make up for it. That hasent worked for two years now. We just don't have the talent that can offset that anymore. Seriously, if a move isn't made with either Bevell and Cable or both, it might be time for Pete to step down.

I think it feels like that cause the o-line is so inconsistent to down right garbage too many times. I'm frustrated as well that this line doesn't get fixed year after year so I guess we'll see what happens this off season if the FO will spend some money on the line.

They will stand pat and pretend fant is a legit LT, and we will go 8-8 at best as our D continues to regress and our O remains stagnant.

Lane would be a terrible idea - as he'd cost $2 million more to the cap off the roster than on it.

Kearse - meh - he's a minnimal savings ($366,666) and so I'm not sure they make that move.

Yeah.... um kay.... get rid of the most successfull coach this town has ever seen. Please do us all a favor and join the Cardinals fans. I've heard (year after year) that they are the team that will clinch the NFC West next season.

I didn't get that either. That should have been reviewed and if it was and they still called it an interception, I still don't get it. He was flat on his back before the ball even started coming loose.

Anyway... the injuries finally got to be too much for this team and then they compounded that by not taking advantage of the opportunities that they did get.

It was a frustrating season, but I'm excited for next year when everyone hurt now should be ready to go again and our offensive line has more experience as a unit and reinforcements at tackle. If you take the same circumstances that the Seahawks had to deal with (injuries to a lot of their best players, including the quarterback, bad offensive line to begin with, etc.) and put most other teams in those same circumstances, most of those teams don't make it to the Divisional round of the playoffs. It sucks that they're going home earlier than we all hoped they would, but they just had too many things go against them this year to overcome any of the self-inflicted issues.

Again, take a breath people, they ARE addressing the O-line, the only T's available this year in FA were the scraps that we signed (Sowell etc), and by the time we draft, good T's are gone off the board.

But they're INVESTING in the O-line, as this year's draft showed.

The interior 0-line played pretty well as the season progressed.

Will they be able to FIND at least one good tackle next year either in the draft or in FA? Who knows, but let's not pretend that they haven't STARTED to change how they're doing things.
