Some guy named Finnegan that was drafted this year came into the game for KC in NY and got a 1-2-3 inning and struck out Ellsbury and Jeter in the process. Had a 92 mph fastball, nice breaking pitch and changeup. Hope we can grab something like that with our #1 pick.

A's fans were so smitten with Billy earlier in the year. They had the best team, best record, and best run differential in baseball...What happened? Oh yeah..Baseball happened and things outside of control of the GM went awry and they regressed finally. We've been waiting on a regression from the A's for 2.5 seasons. It finally came. Beane is considered the best GM in baseball by a lot of people...He's never won a thing.

I didn't think losing Cespedes would hurt them like this. I guess he tinkered a little too much. They should've just stayed put. They will be a problem if they make it though.

Coco has had injury problems and so has Gentry. I think they also lost two starters to TJS this year. Granted their DL is not as bad as ours has been, but they've had some injury problems. I think their Catchers have been banged up as well. Oh well that's baseball though right?

We fell apart when we let Napoli, Josh, and MY go for Berkman and co. It was after 2 years of success. Awfully similar to what's going on there. We just made deeper runs in the playoffs.
