Seahawks vs Patroits, who wins?

Wilson looked piss poor against Green Bay. Seattle needs to have a better start to the game than they did in the NFC Championship, or it could get ugly.

Seahawks will win with a crushing defense and a effective offense. Which is great, because then everyone can forget about deflated balls.

He did, but do you think you'll see a repeat performance? I don't, that was one weird day for Wilson.

Pats will win. Wilson isn't that good and the Hawks D isn't enough to win on their own. Plus Seattle has just as many distractions with Lynch making them look bad. No way the NFL/refs want that guy hoisting another trophy.

Either team is plenty capable of winning. I think a lot of non-partisan fans will make the mistake of allowing last week's performance to carry too much weight. It's a week to week league, and the game is played by humans and not robots. You get varied levels of performance, and good or bad last time doesn't necessarily drive good or bad next time. But people will still pick this game based off the first 3 quarters of the NFCC.


I could be wrong, but I believe I heard that Defenses that were #1 in yards/points allowed during the season are 7-1 in Super Bowls (may be interesting to look at the case of the 1 that lost), and Seattle is 10-0 vs SB winning QBs in the RW era. That's a lot of history on Seattle's side. RW has also played lights out the last 2 games in that stadium vs a D that I think is better than what NE will put out there.
