Dunno why the hell we negotiated that with Denver... just take THEIR pick and call it a day. Saints 3-2... so I guess that pick isn't as good

Where was the source on that? Everything to my knowledge was Denver's pick. Guess it was a last minute thing.

They're going to throw to Chase no matter who's on him... I think Witherspoon will be the better of the two... I'm still waiting to see if last year was a one hit wonder kind of a moment or not for Woolen... I'm still not sold on him being a lock down corner...

Chase isn't that big though. I think he's only 6 foot and not that heavy. He's nowhere like a DK Metcalf, AJ Brown, or Mike Evans type size.

Should be interesting to see who they shove on Chase, though. Woolen has played OKAY this year, he's giving up quite a few receptions when targeted but they are generally for short gains and he's not targeted as much. That said, I agree with Anointed, they are going to target Chase no matter what.

It actually makes more sense to shove Woolen on Higgins as Higgins is 6'4" but I don't know if he'll play. Cincy's coach said it's too early to tell right now whether his rib will be good to go this weekend. If Higgins isn't good to go, I assume they'll shift Witherspoon all over similar to what they did last week. Some outside, inside, maybe some man on Chase, etc. Cincy's OL is HORRIBLE so if Adams plays (he should) I'd expect a LOT of pressure dialed up on safety/nickel blitzes.

That 10am EST can be thrown in the shitter... We're 2-0 at 10am EST so far this year (Lions/Giants)... We were 1-1 last season (Lions/Saints)... We may lose due to other reasons but not because it's a 10am EST game...

I think you are more right than wrong. This team has not been good coming off bye weeks since the LoB went away.

Naw, Woolen on Higgins if he's playing. Better match-up, I think. Also, chase lines up in the slot 50% of the time. I think Witherspoon is better at working the slot. But the Hawks don't really match up corners much anyway. Either way, the real key is our pass rush continuing to get after it vs. a really shitty O-line again.
