That would send the wrong message to the team, IMO. 3rd and 10 is makeable. Plus, you get to punt and you have an excellent defense if you don't get the first down.

I can buy that , but if u punt the only thing you can do is lose. You play for the tie you still have a 2 game lead. You have dodged two bullets already with RW. At least run a screen on 3rd and 10 and not a bomb.

Theyre mot lijely to ein in seattle which means theyd basically be a game back. A tie there and their still 1.5 up . Its not devils advocate. Its common sense. There are times a loss is far more damaging than a win is beneficial. Even if you dont kneel on it you certsinly shouldnt have passed on 3rd and 10 and leave 90 seconds on the clock

Well everything aside, great game 49ers. That D will keep them in EVERY game.

That said, I am just not sold on Jimmy G. I know his two best weapons left the game, but... JUST not sold. Never have been.

But I'd hardly say 49ers are still not favorites. Divisional games can just go like this. Seattle got their asses kicked by the lowly Rams before they had their Super Bowl caliber team when Seattle was routinely competing for a deep playoff run and were TRYING to win the game.

Divisional games are just like that. I did expect it to be fairly low scoring, and if there were no turnovers it probably would've been 13-10 or something.

He's been amazing all season. He gets the most QB hits, is a terror in the run defense, and constantly puts on pressure. Sacks are great and you want them (loss of yards + potential FF) but QB hits/pressure are MAJOR impacts and don't always show in the stat-line so people dismiss it.

Clowney absolutely dominated... That was great to see... He's actually been very good all season but tonight, he was GREAT! Best defensive player on the field tonight...

I see the Hawks had benched Ziggy... He was horrible again... He didn't get many snaps but when he did, he struggled so they replaced him w/ Griffin...

I can't stand him and usually put MNF on mute. I did put it on mute a couple times tonight as well when he was talking. It's even worse watching the 49ers because they have an elite defense and since he played on one he wont STFU about it.
