This one falls on Russ and Pete. Russ has a habit of giving away points in the redzone lately and it came back to bite them in the ass again. His decision making has become concerning. I don't know if the MVP talk got to his head but now that should be an after thought since he took himself out of that race and maybe he'll finally get his shit together and starts playing smarter football.

The 4th and inches Pete needed to go for that. At no point this year has the defense showed it can hold teams down. Already trailing, just go for it. This team needs to get it together quickly with a quick turn around on Thursday.

this Thursday becomes as much a must win as any game i don't care if it's only the 10th game of the season with 6 remaining after that. The Hawks have no more room to slip up and no draft capital to rebuild a team that could miss the playoffs if they continue to play like this. Those powder puff games against the Eagles, Giants, Jets and Washington no longer look like gimmes.

I say Pete as well for Flexability. If you have a brick wall in front of you, then you don't run into the brick wall constantly...

You think of ways to go around the problem. Sometimes their outside the box.

Not much Capital...

Use the 2nd on a CB/S

Use the 4th on a coverage specialist LB

Some on OL

6th on a QB

Sadly right now their stuck inside the box. Who cares if they're on RB4 and 5, just change something up to maybe throw the defense a tad off.

If I was OC.................

I'd create 3 gadget Options for Russ/Lockett and 1 Gadget formation with Moore/Swain/Rockett outside and Metcalf at RB.

Some RB Screens and Running plays for Metcalf and of course one of my favorite madden plays...

welp this is what we were ..well not we but some of us were talking about. That winning close games WOULD end and a losing streak would happen. To be honest if Wilson continues to play like crap and the Defense continues to be ... not a defense lol then we can bet on a 9-7 season getting maybe 3 wins the rest of the way.

And we don’t get a 1st round draft pick .... That really bothers me ... I think Adams is a freakish talent for sure, but $@$@@ I hate giving up top draft picks, it kills you if your season falls flat ....

Anything would be good. This offense play calling has become stale.

Not at all surprised at the outcome. I thought both teams would score a touch more, but I predicted 31-17 Rams. This tough stretch of the schedule has unfortunately coincided with a rash of injuries, and right now it's just too much to overcome against teams that are competent on both sides of the ball. Russell has not bee great these past few weeks (except vs 49ers), but there's way too much on his plate right now. Even if we just had Chris Carson I think we would have potentially 2 more wins. Hopefully he can go Thurs.

One would think Carson should be ready to go considering he was a game time decision for the last two games that he didin't play in. That must mean he was very close to being ready, and now he's had an extra week to heal. I'd be shocked if he sits on Thursday. Plus, it's getting to that time of year where guys are going to need to start playing through minor injuries, soreness, minor sprains, etc. because the races are shaping up and games are becoming super important. Especially against division rivals like the Cards on Thursday. If Carson is mostly ready to go on Thursday and Carroll makes a coach's decision to give him an extra week (again) just to be safe then that's a coaching crime as far as I'm concerned. Same goes for other players. If they can gut it out then they probably should be playing.

According to Schifter. Carson is good to go on Thursday....

"We have no running game"
Why wasnt this addressed through the draft? There were plenty of good backs we could have drafted in the mid rounds. They failed on that like they have on a lot of personnel moves in the last several years.
If this season tanks and we miss out on a high 1st, the team should be demolished with new coaches and front office. Of course, we all know that wont happen.

Exactly... 4 weeks ago, I was very confident we could sweep those 4 teams... If not sweep, at least go 3-1... At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we go 2-2 against those 4 teams to be honest...

I don't want to be pessimistic here but i'm going to... Does anyone have any faith in Carson staying healthy when he comes back?

I do, or maybe i believe just so much and want it to be true lol.

Carson makes this team better. But so does almost every injury we have on Defense.

Carson was healthy, Signed Hyde, Homer still on the roster and drafted DeeJay.

yeah management did put in an effort for the run game especially signing hyde I thought even if Carson got hurt Hyde would pick up the slack until Penny was healthy but here we are week 10 and Penny is still not back. Hard to build momentum on offense when your options are a 4 string rookie running back or an off the street free agent.

And they knew they'd be getting Penny back at some point too. They thought they would be fine at RB. Who knew they'd lose their #1, #2, and #3 RB's all at the same time, and before Penny was back? Nobody could know how thin the Seahawks would suddenly be a RB before the season started.

SIDE NOTE: I just read that if Penny doesn't return to practice this week (week 11) that he will become ineligible to return this year and will be required to stay on the PUP list for the rest of the season.
