Seahawks fans have toned it down a lot. I have no problem with them. Arguably, they have the best team at this point. Still, whomever lifts the trophy gets the final nod.

The thing that people laugh at is suddenly general boards are being spammed with posts better suited to team forums about how the Seahawks are the best team with the best fans in the best city in the history of the world. The Seahwaks are the best team in the NFL this year, but there is a best team every year and the fans of those other best teams didn't really behave this way.

From what I've seen on here, it's only been 2 or 3 certain Seahawk fans that have been starting threads like you describe and a whole lot of threads have been started by other fans from other teams (like this thread), and Seahawk fans have responded.

As for no other fans do this, bullshit. Every year, fans come out for the front-runners and get all stoked up. There were plenty of Falcons fans all over the internet last year happy with their team and having aspirations of a SB. It happens every year and I don't have a problem with them either. It happens in every pro sport.

Now, as for the Seachicken label, I just find it a little funny and chuckle and move on. Kinda lame but most of this kinda shit usually is and it's not worth getting all upset about.
