"Did someone say Seahawks" - cwood
I don't understand what you mean.![]()
Why? Seattle has never been known as an NFL town. They've never been historically known as a loyal fan base. Their consecutive sellout streak doesn't even go back a decade. Message boards didn't used to be overflowing with Seahawk fans beating their chests.
This all happened in the last 2 years... probably actually year and a half after they started getting good. Seahawk fans are mostly bandwagon fans who think they're great because they play in a stadium that was designed to make them sound loud. It's the truth.
I lost all respect for the Seachicken fan base, 12th man what a farce. As soon as someone talks football you run home to mom.

Let's be fair here, though. Anyone who doesn't like talking about the Seahawks isn't going to be very happy on this board.
I won't say they're all bad, but to generalize the seecawks are a very annoying fanbase, at least online. I've been banned from their forum as well which really is no loss.
It's the double standards they live by that's annoying really. They do the brick thing or the banner thing and as one twatsticker so eloquently put it, that's "typical Pacific Northwest", but the billboard apparently means we're threatened by them and evokes this hammers law bullshit that I have no clue of.
I have my stories about going to their stadium as well as the dome as a kid and I've witnessed first hand how 'winning' has changed them. Their intensity is impressive in game, but their obnoxious tendencies are annoying. They act like they've already won the Super Bowl. They're elitist and basically a poor mans Yankees, and in poor I mean in the trophy case.
This is not to say they're all bad, and I do love the city.
More like this.

I'm sure being a fan of the AL West doormat, and historically the Seahawks has made your butt hurt a lot just remember the Super Bowl against the Steelers it might make you feel better.
No Seahawk fan that I've talked to got mad about that billboard thing you guys did. It just added to the rivalry which is great. Unfortunately you guys had to fuck it up and put it in FifeBut to just put your Superbowl trophies on a billboard as if to retort our current success is a touch ridiculous.
When all of your championships came in the same century in which the Ottoman Empire existed, then you need to STFU about them instead of using them as some go-to
Well, I read this whole stupid thread and you did not once talk football. Do not waste my time!
yeah, that same thing happens to every seahawk poster that goes to the niner board. difference is, we don't make threads on the gen board to cry about it.
not from me, I try to respect the fact that you probably aren't going to agree with me on anything dealing with the Niners and Seahawks. Also I'm not crying about anything just pointing out what kind of fans you seem to be.
not on this one, I have in other threads on the seahawks board and they couldn't handle it and went running to their mod.
Yeah me. Hoping for a Seahawks win. Never really been a Ram fan bc i grew to hate them when i first caught onto football in 2001. Cheered for New england in the 2001 SB.
