He is not terrible he is just a slightly more athletic Jacob Hollister, Not better. He is not a "corner stone" TE. Dissly might be if they would get him involved in the passing game.

I think Everett has been pretty good. About a 500 yard season for a team that rarely seems to utilize their TEs. Yah it was a bad drop and yes he had the worst game I've ever seen by a player in NFL history (the SF one) lol, but the positives outweigh the negatives.

Regarding the drives put up by our opponent that consists of numerous plays, that is reflective of a PC defense. Pete demands his D not get beat over the top, and instead will give up the underneath, safer passes. Pete’s thought is if your opponent has to perform a dozen or more plays, sometimes a mistake happens. Maybe a fumble, or an int, ect.
Our D is playing well so far. Impressed.

That works when you have a defense with an absurd amount of talent. Doesn't really work when you don't have that type of talent.
