Dunno. I'd easily argue Lockett is the best receiver. That said Metcalf is the flash.... so he gets the attention. Same reason Doug Baldwin was ignored and overlooked for years.
Good point.

The only smaller WRs who get any recognition are Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs.

Ideally Seattle drives down the field and leaves no time left on the clock for the Cardinals.

Although we all know things never work out as we hope.

Penny is looking great again... On pace for over 100 yards rushing... Would be 4 out of last 5 games...

And he's been running patiently, picking holes that aren't necessarily huge and making consistent gains. Been a good game for him so far.
Run blocking has also been good.

Given his injury history, what do you think we should do with him this offseason? Curious to hear your thoughts.

I graded the pick fairly high when he was drafted and always liked his style... he's had a great career for the games he's played in...

Just one of those unfortunate "Can't stay healthy' scenarios... I'd hate to see him leave but also I'd hate to pay him anything substantial. I don't think that risk is worth it given how simple RBs are to plug/play.

If he'll take like a 1 year $2M contract or something, fine. If he's looking for a 3 (OR) 4 year $12-16M thing, no. He's 25, he has 4-5 more years before he's likely done but not a lot of wear/tear due to limited games. I would not be surprised if he's willing to play a 1 year prove it deal... but even 1 year $5M? No. Get someone younger in who hasn't been unreliable.

And he hasn't exactly been going against STELLAR run Ds (exception of the Rams which he didn't do much against).
