That is a real shame. He looked pretty good last year. I saw that he had broken his neck a little while back. They thought he was going to be back in 6 weeks. Apparently the injury isn't what did it.

“However, during an MRI, the doctors discovered a cyst on his spinal cord, which appears to have been there since he was a child,” Muschamp said in a statement. “The severity of the situation and the possible long-term consequences from that medical condition forced him to give up his playing career.″

Very sad situation, and I wish the young man the best.

damn, but at least now they're aware of the cyst on his spinal cord. At least they move forward with that knowledge, maybe look at treatment or removal to prevent it causing problems later in life
