Somehow the term "media whore" has become a compliment. It's like a prostitute bragging they can attract men to sleep with them.

One of my favorite movies lines. " You don't pay a whore to fuck you, you pay her to leave"

But can we agree that Bill Belichick does have a doghouse? Can we also agree that players don't have to do much to get put in it, but do have to bust their asses to get out?

Exception: Tom Brady

Adam Shefter was on GST and he says that his sources in Green Bay are telling him that the Packers and Patriots have had several conversation over the past two weeks. He was told that during one call there were three people in the room and all were asked to leave and close the door.

Now the speculation starts without a single shred of knowledge.

Are the Patriots and Packers discussing Aaron Rodgers moving to Foxboro? Are the Patriots and Packers discussing moving Stephon Gilmore to Green Bay? Would the Patriots possibly be talking Gilmore, Stidham, Harry, Michel and 2022 first round pick for Rodgers?

Like I said, there's not one single shred of anything of what's actually being discussed. This is the most boring and least active time of the NFL year and anything that can start a shitstorm, will get it moving.

I hate Rodgers but I guess I could learn to like him. I know he's a great QB but there's just that killer instinct or something missing. And I hate that he rolls his eyes at coaching decisions.

I am ready for some football.

There is no way I would give all that up for Rodgers

I think it's the Packers looking to get Gilmore cheap. Everything is pure conjecture and the Packer management has repeatedly said that AR will not be traded.

As far as the afore mentioned trade goes, That sounds like every spare piece of Patriots personnel was tossed in a bucket. In my opinion, if the Pack was going to trade him for players, they would want to really shore up whatever they considered to be their weakness. If Gilmore is one piece, I would think that another piece might be Winovich. I would also think that Stidham would have to be involved. Pats would never have 5 QBs in camp with 4 of them vying for the start.

IMO, Cam would be out, Mac would learn from AR. The Patriots would have to make some kind of roster adjustments to fit AR's salary. Gilmore counts $17.5M against the cap but is only making $7M, the other two are on first contracts and might count a total of $5M or $6M againts the cap and the Patriots have $13.5M of available cap space as of today.

There are way too many possibilities to even guess.

Maybe the Patriots were calling and asking about Adams or Lazard in hopes they could catch the Packers on an off day??

Actually, the 4th QB on the Patriots last year was on the practice squad and was released. He's now the third QB on the Packer roster.

Ran into one of my guys at Market Basket last night. Spent fifteen minutes standing next to all of the imported cheese discussing the Patriots and what's he's been hearing from his sources close to the team.

Nick Caserio and BB have had multiple discussions. Caserio has two QBs and one most likely won't be playing or won't be with the Texans. We're talking Deshaun Watson and Tyrod Taylor. Cas has tried to get Bill to commit to sending Stidham to Texas by week 2 training camp. His original offer was supposedly a 4th round pick and BB said "Nope." Cas wasn't deterred and he's supposedly talking a 3rd. Bill didn't commit or refuse.

Stephon Gilmore made a stupid comment the other day. He said that if he doesn't get what he thinks he's worth, he'll remain "NOT WELL ENOUGH" to play until he does. Is that legal? Faking surgical non-recovery? He wants a Darius Slay type contract, basically, 3 years $50.5M. There has been no negotiation or at all. Bill's comment was, "He doesn't show up, he'll pay the fines."

Gilmore said he'd take a 1-year contract.

I think BB should take a 3rd for Stidham or couple Stid and Gilmore and ask for a first
Gilmore said he'd take a 1-year contract.
And then what we tag him tendor a 2nd round pick?
