Many NFL GM's had Rosen with a higher draft grade than Mayfield. I don't get that mehhh.
alot of gm's had kyle boller and jamarcus russell, matt leinart, vince young etc rated high too.....

enough NFL gm's didnt have him above mayfield or darnold for that matter

So you are saying Lock and Jones are better than Rosen? Plus we don't even know if Lock or JOnes will be there at #15.

Well the article I read said that there are two reports.

One said they wanted a 1st and the other said a 2nd and a pick next year. I'm hoping Metcalf somehow makes it to 15. I like Rosen better than Lock and Jones. I do love Lock's arm strength though.

Rosen was behind a terrible line, but there is still that, "how much does he love football," question.

im not saying that at all. I think we dont know. Rosen certainly didnt show well. He also is a punk. However, i think he can play some football.

But lock continues to impress every step of the way, (and im not a lock fan), and jones has some upside too......

i dont think its a huge slam dunk

i also just spent some time googling around. I mean i could be wrong, but i dont really see anything stating NFL gm's had rosen over mayfield, a few scouts.......but thats about it

How do we not do it for a 2nd and a late pick next year? lol. How can you say no to that when we don't even know if Lock or Jones would be there at #15. Im sure there are multiple teams interested.

To get the deal done you would have to offer #15. The Chargers and Pats would offer their late 1sts. Plus why wouldn't the Dolphins or Giants offer their 1st round picks?

You have no idea what any team will offer. It is possible that you are correct, but it is also possible you are wrong.

According to draft insider Tony Pauline, Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury has told people at the NFL Combine that Arizona selecting Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray is already a "done deal."
Pauline acknowledges Kingsbury may not have final say on this decision -- GM Steve Keim technically has more power -- but Kingsbury is a quarterbacks coach by trade and should have just as much say regarding that position. Josh Rosen trade rumors are peaking with connections made to the Redskins and Dolphins, among others. Rosen isn't nearly as strong a fit for Kingsbury's Air Raid spread and would fit better in an offense like Jay Gruden's.

If we could get Rosen by trading the #15 pick, I would be very happy.

I think Rosen could develop really well under Jay Gruden.

People on here want to offer our 2nd. No way that will get it done.

It will take a first. If the Skins don’t believe the QB they like at #15 will be there, you make that trade if available.

Who on here thinks they could get him for a 2nd?...LOL

It the Cardinals are going to draft Murray they have a surplus of QBs. Why would you give up a 1st?

Can we give back Alex Smith and get our 2nd rounder and Fuller back :noidea:

Fair question unless it has to do with Kingsbury. My only point is I wouldn't give up a 1st for a guy they don't want.

If Rosen is on the block, the Redskins should do everything they can to get him. They may even consider offering their first-round pick (15th overall) to get him. More likely though, the team would be able to package a second-round pick and maybe a future pick to acquire him. If the latter deal ends up being the cost, they shouldn’t hesitate to make a move.

I would be in favor of a 2nd and a future pick but not the 15th pick
