Smart, when people say they don't have a chance against Miami, it's not meant to be taken literally. I would hope you are smart enough to understand that. Of course no one can say with 100% certainty. For all we know, the a meteor could land on top of LeBron's head tomorrow.

Should Rose have come back during the regular season? Maybe he would have gotten in shape and had a chance to make a difference.

At this point in the playoffs... if I were the owner, I would allow him back. Nothing good can come of it... plenty of bad can.

If it were your wallet, what would you do?

Well, I do think they are literally saying it is 0%, because that is the only way that the logic being used (ie: that his presence wouldn't make a difference) makes any sense. If the Bulls with Rose have a better chance to win the title than the Bulls without Rose, there is no viable reason to say that he shouldn't return. By all accounts, his ACL should be 100% healed by now, so the likelihood of re-injury is minimal.

Seriously, why isn't he playing? There is no sensible answer that doesn't involve selfishness and/or laziness.

Every team has a chance, hell the Bucks had a chance to beat the Heat but it was infinitesimally small. The Bulls with Rose would have had a chance but it would have just been a 5% chance maybe. These Heat are only going to be beaten by the Grizzlies or the Spurs, and those are the only teams that have a REALISTIC chance.

Im tired of everyone saying the heat are " unbeatable" nobody is unbeatable. Anything can happen in a short series. Just ask the mavs in 2007, who were 1 game better then the heat in the season. Yeah i know heat had a really hot streak but they are playing over there heads not saying they arent good cause they are great. But i think they are closer to the team that was 28-13 Before the hot streak. You just cant maintain that high level of play forever of never losing..

They're actually not playing over their heads. The Heat aren't playing many great games. They're winning games playing B-/C basketball.

The Heat are 41-2 since Feb 2nd.

BTW a 7 game series is not a short series.

The Heat are no where close to that 28-13 team.

Still though man anything can happen. They even admitted they are getting lucky on the streak. While i think they should win the finals with a lot of key players out for a lot of teams but still we will see shall be interesting.

Anything can happen but this is not march madness. Beating the Heat 4 of 7 in a 2 week span is just an extremely hard thing to do.

Hey I'm with you on the "why isn't he playing" bashing. I think the most apparent answer is that they figure it is very unlikely they will get to the Finals and more rest for his knee is the best option (in Roses' and the Bulls' view). Even though the odds are not 0%, it seems very probable that they will be eliminated by the Heat with or without Rose. So screw it, just have him sit it out.

Not a winners mentality.

Not playing because his agent, BJ Armstrong (Hawkeye Douche Bag) is still mad that John Paxton got the GM spot instead of him.

Well, there's a fine line between having a winner mentality and having a realistic mentality. And who's to say that the greater winning mentality is to make sure he will be right for winning in the years to come?

In essence, I think you could make a case for both sides. I honestly don't know which side is better. We will either find out in the future, or never know at all.

Even though anything is possible, I find this very unlikely. Who told you that??

We will just have to see i guess. San francisco giants won and nobody had them winning also the cardinals were 10+ games out in september nobody had them in the playoffs and they came back to make it and win it all.

Bad examples. Baseball is much more unpredictable.

Also dallas mavs 2011 and warriors 2007

Much better examples. However, for every one of those major upsets, there are 99 that played out the way they thought they would.

If Rose wanted to, I think he could have been 100% by now.

So youre a doctor, you have personally examined him and over seen his rehab? Who knows if he will ever be 100% of what he once was? Like i said, why are you so banged out of shape about it?
What do you think theyre chances are of beating Miami in a 7 game series? I dont give a shit what percentage of games they have won in 100 years. It is not the same playing Miami in a best of 7 series. I give them 15% chance to beat the Heat with or without him.
If we are talking about where he could be "if", i mean wtf. "if" my aunt had balls, shed be my uncle, so what the fuck are we talking about?

Are you a closet Memphis fan?

Sounds like to me that Derek Rose is a coward and needs some lessons in how to be a man.
