cd, i disagree with everything you just said.. You can't just go and pick up some dude off the street and expect them to perform as good as pro bowl long snapper, get real dude.. Now if said player was a real good player and got cut cuz of injury or money, that's a different story.. But for the most part teams KEEP good players..

And those players did struggle early in the year last year, but improved as the year moved along.. I mean MEJ is a rising star and our STARTING DE, Cmon, stop it!! And the ones that are hurt this year are hurting our team..
And im not saying that as an excuse.. But after teams have to many injured players that starts effecting teams.. Again, Cmon man you know better.. Heck we lost 3 starting RTs already, im mean the depth is getting hurt!!
3 RTs, 3TEs, MLB, S, pro bowl RB it's a mash unit man, after a while all that adds up im afraid!!

And 6 games in we are tied for the AFCW cd.. You guys don''t look so hot either, QB problems, leaky OL your D got figured out as well.. We both started good and now here we both sit with two losses each.. And key losses on top of it.. Bolts for you guys and KC for us.. And those teams don't look weak at all..

And cd, i told you dude about key players.. QBs, LTs, and star D players are the big ones, but never forget the little guys, as they will cost you games as well.. And if they cost you games, those are key players..

Well considering the Raiders are one of the healthiest teams in the league I'm sorry but not going to allow the injury excuse to be why the quality of play is so bad right now. I mean did the Chiefs use the Justin Houston injury as an excuse? No they found a way to go win a game.

As for the Broncos not too worried. We had a couple of times looking bad last year and people saying "your defense has been figured out" to then the next week they hold a team to 10 points. Not time to hit the panic button on them or any of the Broncos units yet. They have all shown great potential at different times this year.

Lol, healthiest?? Ya ok man.. And again cd, i told you over and over that im not using injury as an excuse but you refuse to listen.. Players getting injured sooner or later will start hurting teams, and not just us but ALL teams..
Hey, when good players gets hurt there's no excuse for their backups or whoever you get off the street to play up to that starters level, he better cuz there's no excuse!! cd logic

And as for the Broncos?? Teams catch on to scheme, that's a proven fact.. Your D got held in check 2 games in a row, as well as your Offense.. Hey my team got held in check.. Smart coaching learns it always does..
Now, does this mean you guys will be a bad team all of the sudden?? NO!! But the path ain't going to be easy either.. Stop the Denver run game and hit the QB, and leave that D on the field all game.. And it will be exposed.. The Falcons did it, and the Bolts followed suit.. When teams play the RAIDERS RUN the ball, till they prove they can stop it!!
With all these issues, here we both sit at 4-2 as of NOW

Well, now with that inferno KC game behind us, it's time to focus on the Jags!!
This one should be a good one.. The Jags have a young team that starting to play better as the year moves along..
The RAIDERS need to be ready for this team.. As we all know, any team can lose at any time!!
It should be a fun game..

Just do some research and you will see just how healthy your team is compared to most around the league. I feel like I need to make you find some of this stuff instead of just always having me look things up and then you responding with "well that is just your opinion man (even though my opinion is backed up in facts)"

As for our team getting figured out...I kind of doubt that. We just played the 2 highest scoring offenses in the NFL back to back. Broncos held both offenses well below their season average and that is with our offense doing jack squat to help out. Just look at the Time of Possession to see just how bad our offense was in those games yet our defense kept the 2 highest scoring offenses in check. In fact Matt Ryan has only had one game this entire year where he was held under a 100 QB Rating...Can you guess who that was against? He was also held by far to his lowest completion percentage. So the defense other than a few big plays still shut them down.

And as for scheme the Broncos play for the most part a straight up man coverage secondary scheme. There is no disguising what they are doing. Just listen to our opponents talk about this defense and they will say that it is a pretty simple scheme to figure out but the talent on the team is what makes it so difficult. There are All-Pro players at every level and at many of them more than 1. Talent is what makes this defense so much more dangerous than others in the league. Have to remember the Broncos have played 4 of the top-7 scoring offenses in the NFL in their 6 games so far this year. In all of those games the opposing team was held well below their season average. So there is no having figured out this defense just have run into the hardest schedule at least when it comes to facing offenses in the NFL so far this year. Looking at the rest of the season the Broncos only play 1 more team ranked in the top-10 in New Orleans.

Now you want to talk about the Broncos offense then yeah you have an argument there that they are stinking up the joint. This 11 day break came at a good time to get some guys healthy and give the coaches some time to really review the film. I'm expecting a bit better game this week. If not then yeah I think some Bronco fans myself included will start thinking about hitting the panic button.

Im not saying we are the most injured team in the league, or even using it as an excuse.. Besides injuries effect teams in different ways, you can't lump all teams in the same boat as you try to do all the time.. Every team is different.. So those injuries effect those teams in different ways.. Some teams continue to play strong, while others suffer a set back, depending on the injured players..
Now, here are some RAIDER players hurt..
MEJ starter.. Lee.. starter.. Watson starter, his back up Vadal, and the other backup Howard that just came back and is hobbled.. Henney starter.. Allen key backup, back i think but hobbled.. Starting RB Murray turf toe out..
5 starters right there, and the depth.. But ol well we continue to play.. No excuses..

The Denver D got figured out cd.. But not just any team is going to beat it either.. You need a good QB and explosive offense in order to beat it.. But it is figured out..
Rivers and Ryan are good QBs with explosive Os that exposed your D.. The lesser teams have not real shot, even if they no how to beat that D they just don't have the QB to do it..
Then you add if said Os have a good D to keep your O in check , well you start losing..

Last year the Denver offense with PM was not as explosive, but PM was smart and knew how to manage and play in huge games.. Kept TOs low and moved his team down the field for points.. This new guy you guys have turns the ball over and looks timid in the pocket.. If that continues he will burn that Denver D out..

See this is why I question whether you watch the Broncos before you comment on my team. Manning even with missing 7 games last year lead the league in interceptions. The Broncos turned the ball over the 3rd most in the entire league. Dallas and Tennessee were the only other 2 teams to turn it over more than the Broncos and they had top-5 picks in the draft partly because of it. I don't think you realize how great this defense was considering how terrible this offense was last year and how many bad spots they got put in because of that offense.

This year our offense has only turned the ball over 8 times and is middle of the pack in giveaways. The problem on offense has been a lot of things but turnovers is not one of them. I would put it on 4 new starters on the OL trying to figure things out in a ZBS that requires them to work as a single unit compared to the PBS that is more one-on-one battles. I would put it on the fact that our QB's have rotated some making it hard to get any kind of consistency with the WR's. I would put it on the fact that our coach essentially went down with a major sickness the last 2 games and has been our main playcaller during that stretch so without him the offense was put into the hands of a guy that doesn't usually have those responsibilities. Before these past 2 weeks the offense was actually top-10 in scoring. Crazy coincidence that Kubiak goes down and our offense drops to bottom-5. Kubiak is back so I expect the offense to look a bit better.

As for our defense getting figured out again I point to the fact that the Broncos held Atlanta to their season low for points. Same with the Chargers. They are both explosive offenses that the Broncos actually kept in check. They were going to score some points. That is just a given against any defense they play this year. But the fact that the Broncos actually kept them half way contained especially with the offense floundering should show they did just fine. Keep thinking they got figured out though as I can't wait for the Broncos to hold the Raiders to 17 or less in both games and just show how tough it is to score on this defense.

Oh and my food actually did turn out pretty good. I thought I made a ton of food but every last bit of it was gone so no leftovers for today.

Well, i don't watch Bronco games as much as you do, but i do peek to the other side from time to time..
A few things from this post cd..
PM was crunch when the game mattered most and that = SB.. So don't under sell him..
And TOs do matter cd, and being middle of the road is all that's needed.. Why, cause the other team keeps that Denver D on the field to be further exposed..

And cd why are talking about 4 new starters on the OL that need more time to gel, and yet all our new players don't need said amount of time to gel as well??
And Kubiak not being there cd, really?? You going with that?? Im sure you guys ran the exact game plan game vs Bolts as if Kubiak would of been there.. The bottom line here cd is they now how to attack the Bronco D, but again you NEED a good QB to do it..

And right on on food man!! There's never leftovers when the food is good.. So you must of done a good job cooking.. Gotta roll for a few..

Never said the Raiders team didn't need time to gel. In fact I told you from the beginning that adding so many new moving pieces especially to the defense would not mean instant success and would take a while before you started seeing if this would all work. This is why "winning" FA means jack squat in the NFL. In fact the teams that seem to go sign the big name guys rarely actually have success. I think Washington "won" FA like 3-4 years in a row and every single year they had a losing season. And you and I have talked in the past many times about it is not just about finding talent but then knowing how to use that talent and putting them in the best situation to succeed. They are still using Sean Smith to his biggest weakness not biggest strength. They still have him playing a ton of off man which is a staple in the Del Rio system. He refuses to adjust. That is not on Sean Smith. That is on the coaching staff. Until I see adjustments to the talent I think you are going to see the Raiders defense continue to struggle. Same with the Broncos OL that until they make some adjustments and start communicating better they will continue to struggle. I think the Raiders have plenty of talent just like I think the Broncos OL has plenty of talent but if it is not being used properly it is like taking a Corvette and filling the gas tank with Diesel.

Now this is a post i can agree with.. Communication seems to be the key that so many fans over see..
I seen flashes here and there of what they can be, but they break down and get lost pretty easy..
KNJ needs to fix it, period!!

cd, i seen the other day that First Take has some fan debate.. In which you can go and debate those cats on tv..

Well considering the entire show is more about shock value yeah not hard to debate people who care more about clicks than about actually doing some research and knowing what they are talking about. Every once in a while I'll watch a segment when I hear they talked about the Broncos but then I watch it and am reminded why I don't watch. They had one the other day about how the Broncos should trade their 2nd round pick and Paxton Lynch to the Chargers for Philip Rivers. The guy completely ignored the fact that the Broncos have designed their cap around having a QB on a rookie contract or the fact that division rivals don't usually trade or the fact that Rivers is getting up in age so the Broncos would be trading their QB of the future for a guy with maybe 2-3 years of quality play left in him.

As for the comments towards Osweiler we see this with many top defenses where they have a bit of swagger about them and are not afraid to speak as such. Heck I remember Mathis of the Colts talking about how he couldn't wait for his first chance to hit Manning as hard as he could. Just a fun rivalry hopefully brewing there.

Agreed on the shock value of that show.. And i also agree that they throw stuff out there that would simple not work in the real world.. Those cats can be had pretty easy imo.. I post at the HOOP so they would have to bring that game here, oh and bring the babe with them.. Heck, this site has posters that would shred those dudes..

Anyway cd, you guys are now on the Ref list, and with those comments, SMH!!

Now to the important issue?? Will you guys beat the RAIDERS here pretty soon?? Count down cuz!!

Well if the game was in Denver I would say good chance you guys win but with the game in Oakland we seem to have owned you guys on the road. Plus the Raiders just haven't been a good home team lately for some reason. Right now they are 1-2 at home and 3-0 on the road. Last year they were 3-5 at home and 4-4 on the road. The last decent season the Raiders had in 2011 when they went 8-8 they again were 5-3 on the road and 3-5 at home. So homefield just has not been kind.
