Absolutely!!
Bet it means something entirely different from the perspective of the owners, coaches, and players. Then there are fans who...

Joe G didn't play hardball with Champ. Champ said he was outta DC 1 way or the other the season be4 Joe G came back to coach. He said he had become fed up with the puzzle factory that was the Washington Redskins. Playing with players who did what they wanted to do as opposed to what their assignment called for to do (he was lookin at you LaVar) the non-stop turnover far as coaching etc.
If RC is to be believed though. Champ got caught snakin a female in the DC media n his wife gave him a, "either we leave DC or I'm leaving your ass." ultimatum. Whether that's true or not I cant call it. Its certainly plausible, but there are fans of every team. That cant seem to comprehend or fathom a player not wanting to play for their fave team. No matter how shitty or dysfunctional said fave team is. So they invent reasons to blame the player.
And oh, I wish Joe G would"ve played some hardball with more of the coaches he dealt with when it came to trades. I don't know how it came up, but he should've punched Mike in the throat soon as he realized that Shanny wanted the 2nd rd pk to go to the Broncos.
Not to mention Bradberry got way overpaid by the Giants.Trufant and Jones signed with other teams last week. You need to keep up.

If we believe that Fuller and Moreau are the outside CBs, Robe-Coleman would be a fantastic slot CB.
I don't want to go into the draft and I hope the FO feels the same that we MUST fill holes with the draft, Smith said they would not do that.
I hope we sign a slot CB. If the draft was tomorrow, we need:
Slot CB
Starting LT
Starting TE
Starting #2 WR
Starting FS (if they do not feel Davis is the starter and is more of a back up). Some websites show Davis as the #30 ranked Safety available in FA.
Thats a heavy list to go into the draft with and will put signifant pressure on us to possible pass up a more talented player in order to draft a player out of necessity. As I said previously, either the FO will have to change strategies, or they will sign some FA as starters prior to the draft.
Slot corner is Fuller. I would expect a Breeland type to be signed.
Perhaps Christian has developed. We likely need at least competition though.
I think one of our current TEs will be fine but won’t be disappointed in a 3rd rounder competing.
I actually think we are good at WR.
Davis will starting FS and he will be good.
That is not a gamble I believe we should take. THomas has a career total of 300 yards and Sprinkle is about the same at 300. That is 8 season combined with these players and only 600 yards. These are back ups obviously and it would be unwise for us to think of them anything other than that. THe stats show that clearly. Hooper had more than that in 1 season alone. Not saying we should have signed him but if you are looking for Thomas/Sprinkle to be a safety valve for Haskins and help him grow, that would not be wise.
I read that Keim said the in-house feeling is that Christian is not ready.
I still think we another vet WR to stretch the field.
I am so so on Davis. I read a Steelers beat writers right up on him and he indicated they were happy to move on and that he is a poor tackler. I like the signing for depth and ST. Perhaps he can be coached up but I would rather go with a more talented player.
yep off the boardJets signed CB Pierre Desir to a one-year contract

Just out of curiosity, you have stated you expected the offense to be better in 2020. Where do you see that improvement coming from outside of player improvement? We had the worst passing offense in 2019 and you seem to advocate that:
1. We don't need WR help.
2. Our TE corp or one of them would be "fine".
I am not following that we would improve much if not at all based off of:
1. The OLine might be worse. We have no LT at this point so we might have to draft one in the mid-rounds or bring back an older Penn. We also don't know what we have in Martin either. Keep in mind, we are taking a step back in OLine coaching no matter how you look at it.
2. The rookie WRs played well but we still had the worst passing attack in the NFL per NFL.com
National Football League Stats - by Team Category | NFL.com
In other words, we do need more help outside of Harmon, McLaurin and Sims. They only had 122 receptions combined. That is not good and they need help. I do expect them to improve but another option is necessary.
3. As previously stated, Thomas or Sprinkle should not start given their career numbers. Haskins needs a reliable TE in the new NFL. THe top teams have solid TEs and they are becoming more and more important in an offense. Both THomas and SPrinkle have a combined 600 yards in 8 years. Do you feel one of them is a starter?
I am interested in why you think we would improve when we are not adding talent.
Who were our best receivers last season? They were McLauren, Harmon, and Sims. Do you expect them to regress or improve?
Derrius Guice- He was coming off of injury last season and just when he began to break out, 12.9 and 8.4 YPC in history last two games, he was injured again. He will be back and hopefully won’t get injured, but if he does, we have Bryce Love who was essentially a first round pick coming back for his rookie season.
That brings us to our second year QB, DH. Do you expect him to improve or regress? There was notable improvement throughout last season.
Then you bring up the OL. It won’t be worse. We didn’t really have a LT last season so we won’t be worse off there. Our LG will be easily replaced. Our center is returning. Brandon Scherff will be healthy and is playing for a long term contract so he will be better. Moses is not nearly as bad as he was last season.
As for TE, even if it is Jeremy Sprinkle. He only had 100 yards less than Blake Jarwin, 150 less than Akins, 100 less than Rudolph, 100 more than Ben Watson, 100 less than Hollister, 200 less than Graham, and 100 less than Knox. These are all starting TEs on last years playoff teams.
Now let’s talk coaching. We lost our HC in like week 6 but he lost the team in week 1. This alone will make us better on offense.
Hopefully the 3 rookie WRs improve. One of them could have a sophmore slump. Losing Hilliard hurts as he was able to develop them for sure. At the end of the day, we need more talent here or that is what the facts and statistics say. You can never give a QB enough options. I think we need a true #2.
I loved Guice at LSU but he simply cannot stay healthy at all and has played in 5 games in two years. We simply cannot count on him unfortantely.
Love was amazing at Stanford but struggled significantly his Senior year. I am concerned that his production almost was cut in half prior to his injury. I am also concerned that he has had back to back knee procedures without taking one snap. You have to admit, that isn't good. We simply have no idea why kind of player we are getting. Are we getting the Junior year or Senior year version?
I am hoping Zampese works well with DH. I believe he will improve if the offense around him improves. We have to give him help.
Well, right off the bat, we are losing one of the best OLine coaches in the game, so thats not good. If we bring Penn back, then LT is the same or worse since Penn is older. Penn stated he wants to return. Guards are fine I think. Moses is getting worse I feel. He was the 8th most penalized OLineman in all the NFL. Hopefully he bounced back.
For TE. Sprinkle graded out very poorly last year and is not the answer. He started 13 games last year and still had fewer yards than some of the back ups you listed last year. Having watched most of the Skins games, I simply have not been impressed with him.
To summarize, and correct me if I am wrong, you are banking on player improvement and RR as the source of our improvement and not additional talent.
The WRs could have a bad year, just like any WR. The sophomore slump thing is a complete joke for superstitious idiots. Do you expect young players to improve or get worse? The statistics say our passing game was bad but that was as much QB play and play calling as anything.
As for the running game, Guice may get injured, maybe Love gets injured as well, and if they both do, we are in the same exact position as last season without either. So worst case scenario, it is a push.
Do you expect DH to improve? At worst he has the same team around him as last season. So theoretically, QB play will improve as he was improving every week. I wouldn’t expect that to change when the job is his before offseason workouts even begin.
The results of Callahan being here sure didn’t seem to improve our OL. At worst, we will have the same OL. Do you expect Scherff to be better this season? How about Moses? Honestly, I don’t think they can be worse than they were last season.
Actually, every TE I listed was their teams leading TE statistically, except Jarwin who now replaces Witten. You claimed we had to have a good statistical TE in modern football. I was just showing where you were mistaken.
I am absolutely banking on player improvement to improve this offense and we should. If you don’t expect three rookie WRs, one third year RB, one second year but first year playing woulda been a first rounder, an AP G coming off a down season while being under 30, a RT coming off a down season while being under 30, and a second year QB with five starts under his belt to improve, then you are not realistic in expectation.
If you think a former SB coach won’t improve the offense of a historically bad offense that went through an entire season without any real coaching, then you are not being realistic.
I am not saying we will be a dominant offense. I am saying we will have an improved offense. Over Haskins’ last four starts, we averaged 26.5 points per game.
