I have no control over how well the teams I root for do, so you will get no apologies from me for being a Steeler fan, nor am I less of a fan or less loyal just because they are frequently in contention. :p

In other words, don't judge the book by the cover.

I'm guessing that if you like the Steelers and Bucs that you're from Pitt or have some ties there. I would expect someone to root for their hometown team. However, people not from Pitt or with no ties to the city that root for the Steelers I find highly annoying (especially if they are in another NFL market) Take my brother in law, for example. Born and raised in Cincinnati. Roots for the Steelers and Cardinals (MLB). A cincinnatian rooting against the Reds right now and for St.L. Blasphemy I say.

The reds FO is making an honest effort from what I can see. The jaded Bengal fans I sort of understand, but I would think they could find a more suitable team to root for, like Indy... it's only 2 hours away for poops sake.

I've got the most respect for loyal fans of the shittiest teams. Those are true fans. It's easy to root for the Yankees, Steelers, Patriots when they win all the time and are constantly in contention. Rooting for a team that is perenially crappy takes the dedication of a true fan.

He's a good pitcher...he doesnt have the best stuff but like Arroyo knows how to make the most out of what he's got. Had some tough luck. Those two HR's dont even make the warning track in a lot of stadiums.

We need to replace him and Arroyo now. Chapman will probably replace one next year.

As far as your 4 and 5 starters go you could do a lot worse than Arroyo and Leake. But yeah, ideally I think Leake seems best suited to long relief. We'll see how they play it out with Chapman. One of those 'good problems'. Lets hope Bailey comes up big and AJ Burnett reverts to his choking self.
