my question is who do we get at qb ? bradford could be had and on the cheap he would be the closest to a franchise guy we could get but it would be risky

here are our choices in the draft

jameis winston fsu , 6-4 230 lbs
marcus mariota oregon 6-4 219
sean mannion oregon state 6-5 214
brett hundley ucla 6-3 227
bryce petty 6-3 230
everett golson ND 6-0 200

those are your choices to replace our qbs we have on the roster . are there any franchise guys in that group?

The Chumbolone has gotten to you. Stay the course. It is about improving the offensive line and adding quality depth to that line.

How'd it work out in Buffalo? Jacksonville? Miami is still in TBD mode and Minnesota is going through their second first round QB. Face it guys throwing away the QBs we have and dipping the net again is just a stupid idea.

Well, you can look at my avatar and see that I am a Nole fan. I like Jameis Winston's skill-set, but dude has too much baggage. I'm questioning his character, the more he does various actions. I like Marcus Mariota, but I wonder if he'll be able to stay healthy with this slim frame ala RGIII. Plus, he plays in the Pac-12. Oh! And how many Oregon QBs have made it in the NFL? I don't know much about Mannion. Brett Hundley is intriguing, but I am not a fan of Pac-12 QBs because that division is not known for defense. I do like Bryce Petty. I like his size, arm, and accuracy. However, outside of health, is he an upgrade over former Baylor alum, RGIII? Not too sure about that. We've got some decisions to make. I am not sure if Kirk Cousins is a franchise guy. I am not sure if RGIII can stay healthy at this point. In fact, that was a concern going into the season. Next season, the front office has to decide if RGIII option will be picked up for a 5th year. We'll see. Good grief!

firstly I get that your not supporting us changing qbs dad

that being said I really don't want any of these guys.

#1 rg3 and kirk are both young still and it would really irresponsible and rash to shut the door on them especially rg3

#2 even if we were moving in a new direction at qb, we need to make sure we can protect and help whoever it is with the rest of the team so even if we knew rg3 and kirk were busts (which we sure as hell don't) then I would just keep trotting one of them out there (or some cheap vet) until the rest of the team is ready

Through my reading this board over time I had no doubt you weren't endorsing a new QB. I believe you are in RGIII ' S corner and you hope he cones back and leads the team.
