White Sox are terrible. Just awful. They have lost 18 of last 19 at home. Just got swept 4 games by Detroit.

But...I am going to make a bold prediction:

White Sox take 2 of 3 vs. Rangers and win only their 5th series of the season.

And it helps our chances of getting a top 5 pick so there's your silver lining.

Detroit is a very competitive team. They took 5 out of 6 from Seattle and 2 out of 3 from the Yankees and have the top pitcher in Skubal.
But I agree the White Sox are terrible.

They won't do that.

Now, there is no guarantee that he will utilize his option. He might want a multi-year deal on the open market instead.

KC has taken the 1st three games of a 4 game series in Cleveland and are now tied for 1st. Since we are out of it I am kinda rooting for KC.
