Now other people are confirming it. 5 rangers for garza. I am not shitting you guys.

I could honestly see it... Its more "quantity" over "quality" IMO.

To be fair, Garza should command an "A level" prospect. Everything I'm seeing, no "A level" types are being offered.

Olt has lost some value. No longer a type "A" IMO. (like he was last season at this time)
So its probably a mixture of B & C level prospects.



......Maybe a Garza extension is thrown in too?

Or if it is 5 players for Garza, there will be a kicker in case he doesn't resign with Texas. No idea if that is totally legal, but teams have returned players before.

I hope hambomb is right. Getting Rios is the only way we could justify this in my opinion. I'll hold my tongue on the twitter updates for now... just was getting frustrated at the reports that were coming out (and understandably so)
