Series Thread: Rangers @ M's 6/10-6/12

Every series is important, but by the end of this series, we'll have played teams above .500 for 10 straight games. It's an important barometer for how well we might do down the stretch, and yes, I know we've been without Felix, Marte, and Martin.

Anyway, here are the pitching probables

Fri, 6/10 / 7:10p
Iwakuma (4-5) vs. Holland (5-4)
M's vs. Derek Holland

Sat, 6/11 / 7:10p
Paxton (0-2) vs. Lewis (5-0)
M's vs. Colby Lewis

Going to be a tough series... Our bats will need to come alive imo... Need to take at least 2 out of 3... Can't throw opportunities like this away...

Having Marin back will be huge, but how much rust will he have in his bat? Didn't get to do his rehab start because of crappy field conditions so he's just going right back in the lions den.

They really do have to take at least 2 of these and it would be nice if they started with the first one. Set the tone and let those rump rangers know they are in for a fight this time unlike last weekend.

His bat is pretty hit or miss as it is so I somewhat expect to see him struggle for awhile, hope not though.

Mariners activate Leonys Martin off 15-day DL and option Luis Sardinas back to Tacoma. Martin will start in CF tonight vs. Rangers.

If Kuma pitches like he did his last start I do like their chances. Still, cooler night and the roof might be closed. Shouldn't see a whole lot of cheap HR's this weekend. That's for sure.

I was worried about that early lead and all of it coming by the long ball. Texas is too dangerous to sit on a 4 run lead in the 4th and not play add on.
