I am or saying you don’t play Huff but Garver has a career OPS over 800.
That does not mean I would pencil Garver in everyday. I think there are plenty of at bats available for both

I was all ready to make the point that doubles go hand in hand with success, but the Yankees have the third fewest and are leading the universe in win % so apparently the Kid doesn't know as much as he thinks.

The yankees are 7th in OBP and #1 in Home-runs. Also their pitching is #1 in ERA so of course their winning % is highest.
The Yankees also have 6 guys in their lineup capable of 25-30 Hrs. We have about 4.

Our team is definitely not at the finished product stage though. I’m thinking Duran and Smith will help balance the line up out. Looking forward to next year lol

Doubles and singles are pretty exciting IMO. I’m ready to see more hitting throughout the whole game even if it means a hair less home runs.

I give them a 75% chance of making a trade. Selecting Melendez with a pick that was traded for has to be down around 5%. That is, unless they fire JD and Young and put you and me in charge. Then the chances go up substantially.

I think if they make the trade that they probably have someone in mind. I am hoping it is Melendez, but it could be several different guys.
I wonder if these trades have to be made prior to the draft or if they can do it in the middle of the draft?

They are definitely proving themselves.
Exciting to have Jung, Smith, Duran, Foscue, Crim and Huff..
Do we need to draft some pitching? I feel the position player prospects are doing well but the pitching is lagging a little

You can draft some but they are going to be further away than what we already have. There isn't a pitcher worth having in our part of the first round. There will be some available in free agency.

Without regard to how Semien and Seager have performed thus far, did the Rangers make a mistake in going after two SS in free agency? With what we have in Smith and Duran, should we have only went after one of those SS free agents?

Listened to podcast with Tepid and there is some uncertainty about Crim and even Foscue topping off at AAA even as Solak has

Maybe it is a lack of faith as they have performed well at every level so far.
Thinking there will be some promotions too. Some guys have nothing else to prove at their level

If I had my way we would have done one SS and one CF. Of course I had hoped Buxton had opted out

So maybe we swap minor leaguers with another squad loses in the OF

I’ll wait and see what the lineups and performances look like in 2023-2025 before I’m certain lol
I don’t blame the Rangers for having a mindset of plenty talent is better than just enough.
