I'm officially sick of Woodward's lineup bullshit.

Sure seems like we've got something with Solak.
If him and Garcia both turn out to be the real deal that will really help the ole rebuilding plan. That will kind of ease the pain of both Huff and Jung missing extended time this year. Now if we can get a couple of young starting pitchers to come through.

It's like this lineup is required to strike out at least 10x a game. It's unreal.

Solak interjected with his second HR of the game.

He is now tied with a shitload of other players for 2nd place in MLB with 7 dingers.

Who knows the logic of his madness.
He's hunting and switching to find a couple of good lineups to use on a more regular basis a little later in the season, also need to find out who is going to be the 2 leadoff hitters. I'm pretty sure they wanted Taveras to fill that roll with IKF being the backup but we've all seen how that plan turned out, :puke:So he's been putting IKF out there and then he goes cold, put him in another slot and he hits :noidea: So I have a sneaking suspicion this is going to go on for quite sometime especially when Khrush comes back, and that could solve the whole problem if he is productive...

I'm waiting for them to try Solak leadoff if they start getting production from the lower part of the lineup. I realize he didn't fare well in that slot last year bta nobody on the team fared really well last year so why not give it another shot this year, since he seems to be more productive/comfortable...

It's a rebuilding year sooooo :gaah:

Lyles, Gibson, Arihara, Folty, Minor, Lynn, Gallardo, Colon, Moore, and Miller were and are, simply placeholders. Management has known for about three years now that we are nowhere close to being a contender. They simply sign guys to short term deals to try to make it through until we can at least get close to contending.

The goal is to get some young pitching prospects ready and then add a much better veteran or two through free agency or trade once those young guys are close. Will that ever come to fruition? That remains to be seen, but that appears to be the plan.

The best laid plans of mice and men have a penchant for going awry, some plans more than others...

That's what some of us are making fun of because their plans always seem to go awry...
