Picked up a game in the WC. Angels are losing too. I have a feeling TOR is going to move into the top spot sooner or later. The last one will be a race to the end.
Toronto will be real tough. That offense is ridiculous and now they added Price. They are going for it this year.

Was hitting 96-98 on a consistent basis. Thought he looked good overall. At times his ball did not have downward movement but when it does forget about it.
Thanks

Angels may be having some more internal problems with another former Ranger in CJ who needs to have his arm looked at and said he should not have pitching but has kept pitching thru it and the Angels say he is just being too cautious and thinks he should keep pitching. I am not a CJ Wilson fan but the guy has had a rubber arm for a long time and has seldom missed any time. I think CJ has to watch our for CJ and the Angels can take a hike.

The fact that the Rangers are still in the hunt with a total contribution of 1 IP between Yu and Dutch combined is nothing short of a friggin' miracle.

No Dutch, no Darvish, lost Beltre for 6 weeks, Choo has been garbage aside from a few stints (though maybe he's getting it going), our 1-2 hitters are a rule 5 guy tossed on the scrap heap, and a 20 yr old kid who couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag the first 6 weeks of the season, Martin has completely crapped out as a major league hitter, and our bullpen has been a mess to the point that Feliz got launched to the sun.

So far, IMO while he pisses me off sometimes it's hard to say Banny isn't a candidate for manager of the year.

Also, give JD some credit. The DDJ pick up looks genius. He worked the Hamels deal (Which may have come at the exact right time) to get us off the hook for Harrison's contract. Acquiring Josh for $3 mil a year (I know he'll never be what he was, but having a guy with his ability hitting 6th really stretches the lineup). While the bullpen has been a dumpster fire he seems to have made two upgrades with Diekman and Dyson. Nice job getting Diekman in the Hamels deal. Not saying he doesn't have things to answer for, but the dude has done some really good work this season too.

If I know one thing, it's that the Angels FO is not a classy organization.

Don't forget Moreland, Hamilton & DDJ all missing a couple weeks

The main problem this team has experienced the last few years is health, not ability. Keep your fingers crossed.

True......And just think what we could do if we had a "real" manager? :pound:

Looks like tonights matchup is YOGA vs. Dan Straily. Sure would like to see us put up another TD and a FG. We all know the bullpen might really need it.

A W tonight would be great and another series win. Would love to go ahead and make that happen as we will face Kazmir on Wednesday it appears.

They need a quality start out of Yovani.
Yes they do. He needs to quit dancing around the plate and go after these guys. His breaking pitch is a good one but it does you no good if you are not throwing your pitches for strikes.
